I visited the Pilot Airport Hotel on a business trip and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My room was small but cosy and contained everything I needed on my business trip. It was quiet, very comfortable bed and bathroom and excellent WIFI connection to do my work. The biggest asset of this hotel is its exceptionally polite and helpful staff who really made me feel so welcome during my stay. The breakfast buffet was very nice and the restaurant offers delicious food. Outside the hotel you have excellent bus connections to Helsinki and the staff is more than willing to help you pick the sights worth seeing. They will definitely be seeing me again in the future.

A very cost-effective hotel near the airport local transfer, booked this hotel, there is a bus 🚌 direct access, the location is a bit biased. The winter night in northern Europe is long, about ten minutes walk from the nearby shopping point. There is a supermarket, bought some milk and bread. There is a separate kitchen table in the room for cooking by yourself. Suitable for backpackers traveling alone and cheap. The hotel has a shuttle bus to the airport in the morning.

If this review was of the shuttle bus from the airport we would give it 5 stars as the driver was first class, really friendly and welcoming and did a great job as ambassador for the hotel, helped us with our luggage and advised us on our travel into Helsinki for the evening...a true gentleman. The hotel itself was ok. We managed to get a good night's sleep here, bed was comfy although someone had obviously smoked in the room as it smelled of smoking. The WIFI was not available on the night we were there ( no internet connection). We couldn't get the AC to work which was a shame as it was very warm when we were there however at least we were able to get the window open so it eventually cooled down. The room otherwise was fine and the bathroom had modern fittings. Plenty of hot water for showering before heading back to the airport by 10 minute shuttle bus ride, so very convenient for the airport. Didn't try the breakfast arrangents as it was such an early start . We liked that we could get the shuttle bus back to the airport and then get the train from there out to Helsinki centre for sight seeing and restaurants. Very good shuttle service.

Business travel. Good and fast connection to airport. Buses c.a. every 20 minutes. Rooms clean. Food could be a little bit better, but still was very good. Service - super kind people, smiled, always wish to help.

The room was not too big but we didn’t have any big luggage so it was fine, and it was nice too. However, we discovered a black gel nail on the bathroom floor, but since the floor pattern was stone with black, white and grey, so it is understandable that the room attendant missed that spot.

No complaints. On the contrary! Found the breakfast room cozy and simply loved my room. The staff were all very polite. Excellent city travel options (for instance, who does not love trams?). Don’t miss The Hakaniemi square (tori) itself, with a market hall and similar commerce outside. (These days - so what if the cleaning personnel were not all working the same way.)

Staff was so friendly and helpful. Great location. Very close to the train station. Room was clean. Our booking included breakfast but our train was so early that it wasn’t open yet so they packed us something to take with us.

Good internal structure and facilities. Very good. Instead, it is an expensive hotel. Very close to Helsinki Central Station. After taking the train from Helsinki Airport and arriving at Helsinki Central Station, the first huge and handsome building you see when you come out of the main gate is the Sokos Hotel. Sokos Hotel is a hotel that costs approximately 190 euros per night. If you look to the left from the front, there are a number of buildings, one of which is the Grand Hansa Hotel. From the outside, it is an unremarkable hotel. The 'Grand Hansa' hotel is a hotel that costs approximately 350 euros per night. It's expensive, so it's definitely a good hotel. There are various amenities, including restaurants and shopping, right in front of the hotel. You can buy clothes, shoes, and cosmetics at the Stocmann Department Store right in front. There is also a large bookstore nearby.

This is a great addition to the Helsinki Scandic range, converting an old building into a stunning new hotel. It is pretty big (over 300 rooms) but there is enough space for everything to happen. Rooms are lovely and well designed. Rooms sizes and shapes vary because of the building conversion. Some have baths. The superior rooms are all gorgeous and face the church square. Everything in the room worked well and internal noise insulation was excellent. Good air-con and free wi-fi. Blackout curtains were efficient and lighting very well managed. Breakfast is in a vast but multi-roomed area with some seating outside in the atrium. Nothing was missing from the buffet and despite the number of guests it all worked well with plenty of seating. The location of the hotel is also good, very central, 5 minutes’ walk from the Kamppi shopping centre (and metro) and 3 minutes’ walk from tram stops.

Enjoyed a 4 night stay mainly to watch the UEFA Supercup match. Was given room 807 on the 8th floor, what a fantastic view over the water, park and in the distance could see the Olympic Stadium Tower. The room was very comfortable, nice comfortable double bed, large tv, fridge, usual kettle, ironing items, digital safe and slippers/housecoats. I plugged in my Amazon firestick to the hdmi port on the tv so then had access to Netflix/Amazon video etc The wifi was very strong. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful with a good selection of items, the morning after the uefa match myself and I think many others slept in, I went down at 0930 and was difficult to find a seat for breakfast however the staff working done a fantastic job in clearing tables and keeping fresh food available, big well done to them! Hotel location is just out of the main area but only two stops on the metro and your in the main train station, or the bus outside take you in too. Outside the hotel there’s always been plenty of these e-scooters which are handy to ride to the metro station or for me to hesburger! There’s also a small supermarket across from the hotel for stocking up snacks etc For transportation I downloaded the HSL app so bought tickets using the app, also I used Uber/Bolt apps for taxis. If you use Bolt then use my referral “RONNIEKPZ” I used bolt from the hotel to the airport and cost was €25 that was because I was a new user. Handy if you have heavy lugguge!
