From the moment we arrived everything was perfect, the house is stunning and the hosts really couldn’t have done enough for us. The whole place was very clean and the breakfast must get a special mention as it was exceptional, being joined by the hosts too gave it that really personal touch. We would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay at Corbett House. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. The house is lovely and the gardens calming and beautiful. The bed was perfect and the location was superb. Thank you David and Anja for a delightful and memorable experience!

Staying at Corbett House was a true delight. Charming old home that is beautifully decorated with Rimu and Kauri wood. David and Anja could not be more welcoming and the breakfast served was extraordinary. Highly recommend this wonderful spot

This has been our choice of stay since our fist visit at least 11 years ago - for the Paeroa Highland Games andTatoo. t has changed hands in this time but the welcome and hospitality has always been exceptional. The current owners have even rescued us when our vehicle broke down on our way there. Beautiful house and property. scrumptious breakfast (best ever) and my annual swim in the pool a wonderful refresher. Friendly, helpful, genuine kiwi hosts. See you Dave and Anja in 2024.

What a wonderful gem of a place! Absolutely beautiful B&B and our hosts were so wonderful to host us on Easter Sunday. Thank you for a perfect Easter Breakfast! They have a fantastic hot tub, gardens and stunning historical home and we highly recommend booking a stay!

Just Amazing hosts, and a great place to stay, with an excellent breakfast! Anja & David are the bests hosts one can have, they are kind, welcoming, generous, caring and go out of their way to help us travelers. The accommodation's are clean , modern and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of variety and they treat each traveler individually in their preparation of the items. The lodgings have lots of fruit trees and we were lucky to have the juiciest oranges we have ever eaten from their garden. We also enjoyed the hot-tub though it was raining, what a nice setting. David helped us with trip planning, and gave us great pointers. The location is great in that there re are several tourist attractions nearby and within an hour. David, Anja just cant thank you enough for treating us like your family, when I return for sure I will spend more days at your place!

Staying at Corbett House is a magical experience. You step back in time into the graciousness, elegance and calm of the 1920s era when the house was built. The beautiful period details such as the magnificent billiard table, piano with candelabras, and William Morris cushions surround you with a sense of history. Yet there is also every modern comfort, from luxurious bedlinens, to well-appointed bathrooms, to lavish platters by the fire and cooked breakfasts. Anya and David are the perfect hosts - knowledgeable, welcoming, and so hospitable. This is the perfect way to relax and I should know - this is the third time my friend and I have stayed. We will definitely be back!
