So so old and smelly rooms. Its ok for one night

Very friendly staff, the location of the hotel is just so that you can reach everything on foot. Breakfast was ok.

The location is good as it is in the center of District 1. Breakfast is also light and tidy. Soundproofing just seems a bit weak.

Hated this whole experience! They put us in a closet, with a tiny window facing a wall. The bed was the hardest bed I have ever slept on, in all of my years of traveling. The front desk is unhelpful, every time we came down they were scrolling on their phones. The 1 elevator makes it impossible to make it up or down in a timely manner. Breakfast was so-so, Very basic fruits. Shower never got warm. It was just awful. This also seems to be a tour drop off place....tour operators put their people into this hotel. I don't know why. What a terrible choice. Go else where.

Some rooms don't have windows then when we moved to one with a window, it had a wierd damp smell. They give you two bottles of water but don't have a place to top up water bottles unlike other hotels, the cleanliness in our initial room wasn't great and we couldn't get any non Viet speaking movies on the FPT TV. The room size and decor was actually nice despite all the above and breakfast was decent.

The Queen Ann is a good hotel and why I keep returning! Whether for business or leisure it’s central location in the heart of D1 blends modern décor, A road lined with numerous ancient trees . The staff always go the extra distance and are super friendly. The bellman ‘’Vinh’’ is super cool. Reception is was very helpful in arranging a driver last minute for travel to the Mekong Delta, later following up to make sure everything went well. She was also thoughtful in making a timely reservation for a group dinner. Her professionalism, attention to detail and friendly approach makes each guest feel welcomed. I look forward to my next visit Queen Ann Hotel.

looks impressive from outside and reception. Rooms very basic, some rooms without windows. Need to use the door card to use the lift but won't allow you to go to other floors, except your room, ground floor, and basement (for breakfast). Staff very unhelpful and miserable, cant even be bothered to greet you, except for catering staff. Food ok, plenty of fruit and hot food. Be careful, as they tell you that you have used items that you haven't. Clean except bathroom floor. We have stayed in many hotels in Vietnam, many have less stars but much nicer, with nicer staff. Will never stay again

Hotel facilities good. Restaurant staff/chef excellent. Reception staff miserable. One of our group accused of stealing a towel. We were accused of using water from the mini bar. Both accusations are UNTRUE. Hopefully INTREPID will stop using this Hotel. This was a sad part of our holiday which was otherwise superb.

This hotel is in a really great location. Many of the interesting sights are within walking distance provided you are willing to face the traffic. The staff are lovely and the front desk is really happy to help with any inquiries. If like me you have mobility issues this might not be the hotel for you as the steps to the entrance are steep and hard to negotiate with a suitcase. The rooms are small but well appointed. Cleanliness particularly of the bathroom was fair. The bed was comfortable however with a night club right across the street it was difficult to sleep due noise. There is also a school and the beautiful singing by the children in the morning was a pleasant surprise. Buffet breakfast is included and although there is a variety of dishes offered, there is very little choice for vegetarians. There was also very little service offered. The restaurant is in the basement and is very small so when the hotel is fully booked you might have to stand and wait quite some time before a table is vacant.

Central hotel used by tour groups. Room layout ok. I would not book here if booking directly independently. We were on last day of tour - least satisfactory hotel of tour. 1) Rooms at front get noise from club/ bar Wan opposite. We got little sleep. Some rooms have no window but maybe that would reduce noise ! Make sure you get a rear facing room. 2) Breakfast in basement- very cramped and busy when several tour groups 3) You can't leave ( even if in hurry to go to airport) until your room is checked. Never in 40 years travelling from hostels to 5 star have had that - hugely disrespectful. Told it was hotel policy. Make sure you have 2 plastic key cards to hand in ... they seemed to be making fuss if people did not.
