Cottages small, very nice, all in wood, very comfortable beds (the ones at the bottom are queen size). The shower is free. There is a small kitchenette, if there had been a few more pots/pans I would have given five stars. The two electric radiators do their job. Fantastic sleep. Across the road, at the gas station, a small supermarket with the essentials.

This property offers basic cottage in Hofn city. Small cottage equipped with 2 bunk beds which for 4 persons. However, 4 persons might be too tight. There is WC, patio and small kitchen in the cottage. Shower room is in the central area. 200 ISK for 3 minutes. Staff are helpful and friendly.

When we opened the cottage we discovered 3 plates on the floor, surely a failed incantation from the previous tenants... Besides, the cleaning had not been done, the smoke detector had fallen on the floor, the beds were covered in dust. The cottage is tiny and not suitable for 3 or 4 adults. The showers are shabby and you have to pay. The cherry on the cake is that there is no wifi available in the cottages, no coffee, no tea. In short, in 10 days in Iceland I would have known cheaper and much better places to stay with locals or in RBnB. Run away...

Spacious cottage but no shower. The shower was 50 m away and we assure you that even if it is July, with 10 degrees outside, taking a shower while going out in a bathrobe is not a nice thing. Internal sink and basin without hot water. Very high price for what it offers. Avoid if possible!!!!

No hot water. The shower is outside, and it is not enough for all of us staying at the complex. They charge per minute for hot water. There was a leak above my son's bed. There is hardly any message. The cabin moves with the wind and it makes you feel unsafe. 400 euros for two nights in that place is a rip-off.
