Lanting Hotel (Hohhot Railway Station) Reviews

I booked again in this hotel because aside from my previous positive experience, the owners are nice and actually allowed me to leave my luggage while I joined an overnight tour in the Xilamuren Grassland and Kubuqi desert. If you are travelling from airport to the hotel by subway, the building is less than a kilometer walk from Line 2 Gongzhufu station, take exit A and walk to the right. Posted some pictures for reference. It's just along the highway.

Cozy place for short staying. Strongly recommend.

The room is clean, the bedding is comfortable, and the facilities are relatively simple. I have booked two rooms. Parking is available in the courtyard. The boss and his family are very enthusiastic and take the initiative to introduce what to eat and play in the surroundings. When they see the elderly and children, they also offer water and tea drinks. There are also his big golden retriever Maomao and puppy Huahua, who are very friendly and smart, adding to the fun of the trip.

The room is nice, the owner is very nice, I strongly recommend everyone to stay. Good service, good hygiene, good conditions, in short, it is good. There is also printing service, only charging cost price, which is cheap.

When I was given the bill, I didn't even look at it because I'm from Chongqing and I generally trust people and won't charge random things. So I didn't calculate how much I said and just paid it directly. When I went back, my family members thought more and more that it was not right and said that they must have been overcharged. I thought about it too and felt that I was overcharged because the boss kept looking at us from time to time while we were eating, which I always felt was very strange. But there was nothing I could do since I had already returned to the hotel. I want to remind you that if he doesn't give you a receipt and directly calculates the price for you, you must ask him to calculate it again in person or you can calculate it yourself to avoid being ripped off. This was the worst experience I had this time here. The only things I was satisfied with were this hotel and the scenery of the grassland, nothing else.

There are many scenic spots around Hohhot. A group of ten people chose this one. It is really good. The room is very clean. There is a washing machine downstairs. After washing, you can dry it directly on the corridor at the door. It is very convenient and dries quickly. The boss was very enthusiastic and helped freeze the watermelon. He also told me where to eat and buy things at a cheap price. There is also a movie room on the first floor. There is a very fat golden retriever who is very cute☺️. Good review!

The room is clean, but the shower space is a little small because the floor drain is located in a subtle position, just where you need to stand. Overall, it's not bad~

Dogs: There are two dogs named Maomao / Huhahuha, and they are very lovely puppies~~ This was my second visit to Lanting Hotel, and as expected, I had a great time. I highly recommend it~~
