4.3/5
Excellent
GGuest UserA delightful place for a night. We stayed in the jungle lodge which is spacious, clean and comfortable. Fabulous king size bed, good air conditioning and beautiful bathroom. The room overlooks the carpark and there was noise from dogs squabbling over food. However the hotel staff swiftly sorted that out. The hotel team was friendly and helpful but we did misunderstand about the opening hours for the pool. We also had to wait until the room was inspected before we got our deposit back! A quirky rule! A highlight was the restaurant. Our package allowed us to have an a la carte menu and it was one of the best meals of our Sabah trip. Equally good was the breakfast. Refreshing not to have the ubiquitous breakfast buffet! Overall a lovely place.
GGuest UserWe drove to Mount Kinabalu for 2 nights stay at the 1) Peak Lodge 1 & 2 , 2) Summit Lodge & 3) Garden Lodge. The accomodations are comfortable, niece ambience with fire place ,has slow or no wifi connection at all. Some improvement needed in Housekeeping cleaning. Shower room in Summit Lodge flooding as the floor trap was filled with dirt & hair. Shower room wall tiles are dirty. Awesome view of the Mount Kinabalu from our Lodges. Breakfast is at Liwagu Restaurant , it serves Asian Buffet. Dinner is Ala-Carte , food and service are good. For activities , around the Park , we make visit to the Botanical Garden and Poring Hot Spring and make a further drive down to Desa Dairy Farm at Kundasang. All in all it was a relaxing stay !!
LLoga KrishIt has both pros and cons as well. As for the pro, the resort was quite strategic to some tourist spots like Kinabalu park it's just nearby which is about 3min drive only. Most importantly it has a beautiful view of the mount from the stay place. The staffs were friendly and able to provide an alternative menu to our vegetarian food on 1st day which was a big relief to us. As for the cons we had some insects at night/early morning (bees)in the room. Otherwise the place was pleasant enough during our stay. Thank you.
MMazliAMCWe revisited the property because of the location just a week apart. First time the price was rm100, then a week after that rm135 including breakfast. They do not have option to exclude the breakfast. When I inquired about the breakfast, the front desk showed me their menu with wide range of breakfast but the next morning, we were given a coupon to tick one of 5 choices, 2 of which were not available. Choices were bad, food was bad, all in all - rm35 breakfast for 2 was not worth it. You could find a better tasting options in the town which is just a walking distance. They will ask for deposit. First time, the deposit was rm50, then they increased it to rm100 a week later. So, I am not sure how long this review will stand correct when it comes to the amount of deposit they actually required. Telephone was not working (which they change for us), TV was not working (which they couldn't do much because they haven't applied for Astro), room slightly dusty, flooring makes sound when you walk, so you might need to tiptoe if someone is sleeping, the garden table at the balcony could be hazardous simply because they failed to adhere to the law of physics, and when you thought it couldn't go worse, the next day we had a very noisy guests with kids running and shouting as early as 6am in the morning. Apart of the location, I don't think I would rate this property as good value for the money.
CCallybbSuitable for families.Room is huge and wifi provided, wifi connection strong too . Location just nearby with hot spring and not far from the stay(unless u guys planning going Poring Hot Spring and may choose to stay here ,sure no regret .)Some people might think its far but i prefer here. The environment so peaceful ,away from road jam . Parking space also provided which big area there .When we checked in late, owner will whatsapp their location map ,owner prepared a lot of local foods and bbq fish .Owner so friendly and inviting all having dinner together . We stayed there for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. Highly recommended . No worries .Use waze and it will guide you there .
GGuest UserWe had 1 night here and stayed in the small cottages. They were ample for a 1 night stay. Bed comfy but pillows a little soft. The room was airconditioned and the view to the hills was lovely. Misty in the morning and gorgeous. The cottage had a small lounge area to sit. Bathroom was ok. We ate at the restaurant ...Chinese type food. Wifi only in the restaurant area
AAnnuarHotel views of mountain is good, rooms were cleaned. Only problem was we were all 60s so rooms given to us was way below the slope where we have to climb the stairs was quite steep. Tv reception was bad. Good for young couples.
CChu Kok LeongFirstly, the telephone number to the outlet is + 6 012 869 6969 as shown on a signage at the entrance to the outlet; the number advertised on this platform is not helpful when I called two days ago to ask about my booking.
Secondly, the road from the entrance down to the parking bays is steep requiring experience and skillful drivers especially when their vehicles are loaded with passengers or baggage.
Thirdly, the wash basin faucet in the bathroom of my room is loose, the shower head hose is inflexible, and the water pressure is below average.
GGuest UserUnbelievable full view of Mount Kinabalu from the balcony. No airconditioner, no fan but these are not needed as the temperature gets freezing cold at night. Do bring extra sweaters/blankets especially during rainy season. Water heater for drinks was a bit dusty but it doesnt bother me much. Bathroom was clean. Hot shower is available but i think the coldness from the surroundings overpowers the warm water coming out of the shower. Best time to shower is probably around 9.30-10am as the sun will be all up so that the hot shower wont get re-cool by the surrounding temperature. Overall, staying here is still totally worth it. I would come back again.
NNanaSyakinahWe just wanted to try doing it in a capsule.. but this is the first time we've done it in a capsule.. the place is a bit scary.. but we'll try doing it in a tent later.. everything else is ok..
