"My partner and I had a lovely 1N stay in the Hill Lodge. The experience of waking up to the breathtaking view of Mount K made the entire trip worthwhile! The buffet breakfast was also excellent and a great start to the morning. We had requested a small birthday effort. While nothing was prepared, we don't blame the staff at all for any potential oversight (we're definitely happy to pay for additional charges, too!). Our only minor suggestion for future guests is that it would be great to be informed at c/in if a special request cannot be accommodated. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and we highly recommend it for the incredible mountain scenery!"
"I only take the basic room but the facilities are enough, and the hotel is a bit far from town. In the morning, you can see Mount Kinabalu, which makes the atmosphere calm and beautiful. Even though the room is basic, the surroundings and natural scenery make the stay truly worthwhile. This place is perfect for anyone who wants to escape the busy city and enjoy fresh air and peaceful moments."
"The environment and accommodations were absolutely superb! We'll definitely be back. Our family found staying here to be incredibly comfortable, and the fresh air was wonderful. We absolutely loved the cabins!"
"The road to the place is a little shaky but all worth it for the excellent view. In the morning got to see the whole mount KK in front of us, really amazing view.
The people hosting were super nice and friendly, they have a restaurant and small mart at the reception area, even a water dispenser.
There were 2 rooms with big bed and another with bunk beds that can fit 4. You can also ask for Wifi router and Mahjong to rent. Overall good experience, would visit again!"
"The destination this time is mainly to visit Mount Kinabalu. After screening several hotels near Mount Kinabalu on Ctrip, I chose this one, mainly referring to the geographical location, hotel prices and reviews. I drove from Kota Kinabalu Airport to the hotel alone, and the journey took 2 hours. The hotel is in a valley, and there will be a rugged road with many lush tropical plants on both sides. After arriving at the hotel, there is a feeling of sudden enlightenment, and the perspective is also very good. You can see the layers of mountains and very low clouds, especially at sunrise. It is very healing. The attitude of the staff is very friendly. Because it is located in the mountains, there are small insects in the room. I asked the waiter to help me clean it out, and they are very patient. The scenery of the hotel is nothing to say. You can see the mountains and the cabins below. Even if you do nothing and blow the wind, it is worth it. It is a 5-minute drive from Mount Kinabalu. There are also scenic cow parks and Mount Kinabalu ranches around it, which are very beautiful. The cats and dogs in the hotel yard are mostly lazy and sleeping in the sun. Although the hotel room facilities are relatively basic and there is no breakfast, I still think the overall experience is good, focusing on a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. I look forward to staying here again in the future and recommend it to everyone."
"The room was nice but the bed is not comfortable. I felt that I slept on the plank of wood. The mattress so hard and i had body ache. I almost burned myself when showering. There was a label sign on the shower tap (hot/ cold). The hot label is actually for cold and the cold label is for hot. I turned the tap to cold label and I almost burn myself. I have to call my sister's family to warn them when they showering. I have make a complaint to the front desk and she told me to speak to the maintenance cos if she inform the maintenance, they will not believe. When the maintenance lady came, I told her about the situation. She just list and never say SORRY or she will check the room. She just nodded her head only.
When I came back in the evening, the shower is still the same. It means the maintenance people did not do anything. Hotel Management, you need to do something on this matter!"
"for the price of RM130+/nite for a room of 3pax I would say its really really worth it, nothing fancy but room is decent enough for me and my parents, water heater is workimg well as the weather there is really cold plus the rainy day, tv aint working but not a big deal as its time for family bonding😁 basic amenities available with clean towels, lots of parking available, free wifi available but was not that stable.
one thing good bout this place is the location, located right by the main road heading Kundasang town, and very convenient a restaurant situated just below of the hotel, serving NO PORK dishes, general food is and price is reasonable👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻"
"The hotel is quite new and clean. The road to the hotel is a little bit bumpy but overall I enjoy the stay. Got the treeview room but the view from outside the hotel is nice. The breakfast is blindbox style and only will know on that day"

Very Good
GGuest UserThe hosts are wonderful, friendly people who made our stay comfortable. Our room was a small room with a bed, a table, air conditioning and a combined bathroom. The room is clean. You can order food delivery and it will be delivered fairly quickly, the food is delicious. You can buy coffee, tea, and drinks on site. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the entrance to Hot Poring Springs, but they can give you a ride for free. There is a transfer to Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan. More expensive than Grab, but you can't call a Grab from there. Grab cost us 200 ringgit from Kota Kinabalu, the transfer back cost 300. Don't expect luxury from this place (or from others nearby). It's like visiting your grandmother in the village). Very soulful.
CChu Kok LeongFirstly, the telephone number to the outlet is + 6 012 869 6969 as shown on a signage at the entrance to the outlet; the number advertised on this platform is not helpful when I called two days ago to ask about my booking.
Secondly, the road from the entrance down to the parking bays is steep requiring experience and skillful drivers especially when their vehicles are loaded with passengers or baggage.
Thirdly, the wash basin faucet in the bathroom of my room is loose, the shower head hose is inflexible, and the water pressure is below average.
AAnnuarHotel views of mountain is good, rooms were cleaned. Only problem was we were all 60s so rooms given to us was way below the slope where we have to climb the stairs was quite steep. Tv reception was bad. Good for young couples.
WWong khin yuThe toilet is so old! The outside of the house should be renovated even if it is not renovated! A lot of equipment is broken! How can I put it...it is more suitable for the local Malays to live! If it were me... I would never come back to this hotel again! !
