Popular Chongqing 4-star Hotels

The room is big and comfy, everything is good. And fast service when request drinking water and extra pillow. The location is at the 81 food srreet and also JIE FANG BEI. Will come back again

This hotel location is superb considering that it is situated right in Hongyadong itself. It is also the first hotel in my years of travel whereby the reception is at the highest floor and we have to take the elevator down to our room. Imagine how unique is that. Room is spacious too and the view is splendid. Cleanliness can definitely be improve slightly but overall is a very good hotel.

Cool hotel in a great location, decor is a little tired and the restaurant looked closed not sure if it is due to being a quiet time. Staff couldn’t speak English but it wasn’t an issue, pool was lovely and cool with a great view. Bedroom was clean and comfortable.

It was in an excellent location in the downtown. My room had a good view and was quite large. The hotel didn’t have enough lifts and every time you wanted to go up / down there was a long wait and full lifts. The breakfast was basic but in line with what you would except for a Mercure in a 2nd tier city in Mainland China. The price through TRIP was good but I wasn’t able to eat any Accor points as Trip had paid the room.

Excellent hotel. Staff are very helpful, location is central and easy access to food, metro while being quiet on the 20th floor. No issues with cigarette smoke in the rooms. They do your laundry for you, limited to 5 free pieces a day. One suggestion would be to make it 5x the number of nights you’re staying as I can understand they can’t be doing weeks of laundry but it’s also annoying to bring it everyday. But they accommodated me with my 17 pieces on the first day without issues which I appreciate. The elevators are quite full with only 3 operating for 25+ floors and the building isn’t fancy but I appreciate the quiet and location. Would highly recommend.

We were warmly greeted at the front desk beautiful and gentle speaking lady 夏木 who added us in WeChat and went the extra miles guided us during our trip. Hotel is convenient to many places with walking distance and daily amenities were changed . We love the washing machine and the style which feels like an apartment homely vibes. The high storeys allow you to enjoy the view of Chongqing and mesmerised by the city charm.

the view is very nice but the price is not worth the comfort of the hotel. The construction is cheap and they have mould in the bathroom and in the AC. Which makes the air very sticky. The rooms are looking nice on the pictures but in real life its not high class like the price level may expect. We stayed in another hotel with better conditions for third of the price 5min away from this hotel. So its not about the location. Just the look high above is impressing but not worth the price. Also the pool is directly next to the reception and the hotel bar. No comfy place where you like to go for a swim. The best thing about the hotel: The staff was very welcoming and friendly.

Superb!! I really enjoy our stay here. I did a lot of research and read all the reviews good and bad before I decided to booked this hotel and I did not regret it at all. The room was so nice and it's the same as it show in hotel pictures and the view from our room is really amazing!! Location is very convenient and easy access to all the attractions. The tour agent at the lobby area also give a good suggest and reasonable price. What I love the most is the service here. The receptions and the other staff are very helpful and promptly dealt with our concern. They are very polite and very professional and will do their best to make our stay feel like home. They really play big part of my good impression and I will definitely come back to stay here next time I'm in Chongqing. Thanks for the upgrade and the excellent hospitality! Best Regards,

Hotel is very centrally located. The Location cannot be any better. Less than 2 minutes walk to a Metro station and the Liberation Monument and Times Square and 5 minutes walk to the Art Gallery. Food streets, food courts and food outlets are many and all within 5 minutes walk. Hongyadong is about 10 minutes walk. But I like the food court at Park108. Clean, Aircon and reasonable prices. I stayed in a Royal Suite room. YThe room is clean but tired and furniture are the basic old fashioned type. The room is divided into a separate sitting area, a bedroom, and a small study room. The bathroom is very small for a room of this size. It contains a jacuzzi bath tub but the jacuzzi is not working, so we used it as a shower tray. The wash basin is small and basic. The room comes with two complimentary bottled water everyday and some tea bags. Hotel do not provide toothbrush everyday. The breakfast is basic. Noodle soup station, bread, fried rice, fried noodles, porridge etc. Fried and hard boiled eggs available but no egg station.. Coffee and soya bean milk are from a dispenser. Taxi cannot access the hotel at door step. Taxi will stop about 2 minutes walk away and you will have to pull your luggage along. Taxi are plenty however. The reception guys are extremely polite and helpful.

The AC was loud and the walls are thinn so you hear people doing stuff. There's like 3 main elevators but the issue is it's connected to the whole high-rise so it's like 2 minute wait time to even get up sometimes. The room wasn't clean but it wasn't dirty. Not modern nor old. Just alright. My bathroom had a goofy smell idk what it is. The front desk lady however was very nice start to finish and allowed for the cancelation for the remaining unused nights. Location is pretty much the very city centre and is one of the best choices. For that if u sleep deep and don't mind the sound issue. I don't have issues with anything else
