Family-friendly Hotels in Honolulu

We had such a great time couple days the winds were high, but we didn’t let that spoil our vacation. The sun was out that’s the most important thing in the temperature was in the 70s and 80s and so perfect for people from Seattle Washington rainbows you know it’s a tropical area so the rainbows appear in the sky just so beautiful fireworks on Friday night was outstanding. Looks like all of Waikiki came to look And we stayed in the Tapa building and ocean view just outstanding. The restaurants to Bali was fabulous. The restaurants are on the street level was fantastic and we walked around the city and experience various type of cuisine. This is an outstanding vacation seven days and my wife and I are so glad that we have mobility and at our age so we could really enjoy the beach. Enjoy the catamaran enjoy just walking around the city shopping and so just outstanding. We look forward to another vacation like that. 

Don’t book a room cheaply! *Environmental location, next to Wakiki Beach and on the main road, it is very convenient to be connected in all directions. Not as good as the new 3 star hotel rooms. (Pictured below are the benefits of room upgrade with the Marriott Platinum Card. I booked the cheapest room, but it turned out that booking through a third party did not provide any membership benefits. In the Maui fire, the hotel was full, and I wanted to upgrade temporarily but there was no room). The room is old, with an area of ​​less than 20 square meters. In short, don't try to be cheap when booking a room. The small and shabby room type is not as good as staying in Hyatt or Marriott. The price/performance ratio is too low!

I stayed at the Royal Hawaiian for a wedding. The staff, rooms, pool, everything is great. The room was also upgraded to a larger room with an ocean view. There was also a bathtub! I really recommend it.

The hotel can store luggage for free, and there are many places to rest in the lobby, and the seats are also comfortable. The hotel front desk can upgrade to a partial sea view room for about $24 a day. This room type comes with a small balcony. Sitting on the balcony in the evening to enjoy the sea view and watch the resident singers singing is very atmospheric; the hotel provides kettles, you need to go to the corridor to get water, which is quite self-service, and ice cubes are also provided; toothpaste, toothbrush, slippers, etc. are not provided proactively, you need to ask the front desk; the house was not cleaned proactively during the two-day stay, so call the front desk if you need it; the hotel has its own outdoor swimming pool, which is mainly played by children; the front desk will give beach towel cards, so you don’t need to bring your own towels when going to the beach or swimming; some rooms in the hotel seem to be under renovation, and the electric drill is very noisy in the morning. In short, the overall cost performance is good, the service is enthusiastic, and the corresponding hardware and software are in place.

I don’t usually do reviews but I have to because people should know what they are buying and not be surprised when they get there. I’m not a hard person to please so I choose this hotel which in my opinion was actually a motel. If you know the difference between a hotel and a motel you understood that. Anyway the rooms are very small the decor is out dated very little amenities a free water bottle when you check in, hard pillows, no printing station for the guest, no hotel transportation or shuttle toilet ran all night the shower was dirty small bathroom with very low water pressure the only thing I enjoyed about my stay was my ocean front room I stayed on the patio the majority of the time we where inside our room. The view made up for the horrible room/hotel I would never stay there again when doing my search it kept saying that was the only hotel that had ocean front so be aware when booking your trip to Hawaii because that’s not true!!!

The first hotel I stayed in when I came to Hawaii. The hotel is very new and the environment is also very good. The service is also good👍. It is closest to the beach. There is ABC downstairs and many restaurants. I regretted only booking for two nights😂
