OUTRIGGER Waikīkī Paradise Hotel

In general, the room is relatively clean, and the location is only a 5-minute walk from the shopping mall and Waikiki Beach. The price is very good in Waikiki Beach, Hawaii. But I will write some experiences about the service. In the future, everyone should try to avoid communicating with this waiter when they go to the hotel. My friend and I checked into this hotel on January 30. Because it had just been renovated, we entered the room and it was a bit stuffy 20 minutes later. We discussed that we didn't want to bother for one night, so we planned to sleep with the balcony door open at night for ventilation. As a result, the balcony door was broken, so we went to the front desk to tell the situation and see if we could change to another room. As a result, the waiter was very impatient. Our spoken English was not very good. She said a lot of English there, and we didn't understand. She rolled her eyes and said "something something Chinese" very seriously, and we both felt very uncomfortable. At that time, I felt that I was traveling in someone else's country, and my English was not good, so I could just bear it. But when two foreigners came after us, the waiter immediately greeted them with a smile and asked about their situation. In the following experience, other service staff were very enthusiastic, only this lady took a photo. The hotel is worth staying in, but this person should not ask her to check in, so as not to affect the good mood of the vacation...

The construction work had already been completed, so we didn't have any inconveniences. I had sent a message requesting a higher floor if possible, and when I mentioned it again at the reception, they upgraded my room for free. There was a gym and a pool, but unfortunately I was busy sightseeing so I wasn't able to use them even once. It was close to Waikiki Beach (only a 5-minute walk) and there were many major restaurants and shopping establishments nearby, so we didn't have any problems at all. There was a Rakuten store where you could drink Kona coffee and juice, charge your phone, and make tour reservations for free (only for Rakuten card holders), which was really useful for Japanese people. I went there without making any plans at all, but we didn't have any problems at all. There was a convenience store right in front of the hotel, so I could go and buy canned beer, or a sandwich when I got hungry, so it wasn't a problem at all for a woman traveling alone.

The hotel is new, and both the reception and the rooms are very clean. There is a pool and a gym, and access is very easy.

It was a trip that was hastily planned during the peak Christmas season, so it was difficult to find accommodations and prices were too high, so I made a reservation for a relatively inexpensive place. The location was also great, and it was relatively clean and convenient because it had been remodeled. I chose an ocean view, but there was construction going on at the window, so the view was blocked. I couldn't see the ocean view.
