This understated hotel was an excellent choice when needed while waiting for vacancy at my work retreat hotel. The shuttle service from airport was a short wait, worth it for the tips on the area from the driver. All staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. The pool and jacuzzi were nice amenities as well. The room was spacious and the bathroom counter was a treat for the female traveler. The bed allowed me the best sleep I have had while on travel in a long time, truly! I recommend this hotel. The basics are delivered spectacularly.

There is a difference between a suite and a studio. The suite has a separate room. Studio is one room. Both have small kitchen and pull out sofa. In our studio we could use the cushions from the sofa as another extra bed on the floor! There was no oven - just a stove top. There is full fridge, freezer, microwave, some dishes, some utensils and a pot and pan. Indoor pool was nice and warm maybe about 88?. Hot tub was adjustable heat and beautiful with jets. Great view of Pikes Peak. Not noisy. There was a full shower in the pool area (no walls and in the pool area). Lots of choices for breakfast buffet - eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, juice, sausage, waffles.

Beware of staying at this Residence Inn, as my experience has been permanently marred. The staff here engages in collective dishonesty, tarnishing the reputation of the entire establishment. I arrived at the extended stay hotel at 3 am on Christmas Eve and had previously called to ensure a smooth check-in process. Management assured me that a late check-in was possible. However, upon arrival, the hotel was deserted, and security informed me that Judy, a staff member, was at the Fairfield Inn across the parking lot due to a system outage. After a confrontation with Judy, during which she charged my card without prior notice, the situation escalated. It's important to note that these charges occurred while I was stranded on top of a mountain in snowy conditions. Despite the system outage, she insisted on a $400 security deposit, citing policy. Resigned and exhausted at 3 am, I agreed to use a different card. After our argument, Judy agreed to let me stay if I walked back to the Fairfield Inn (2725 Geyser Drive) to ask the manager, Matthew, if that was okay. So, reluctantly, I did. After explaining and apologizing the manager gave me a room key for a room at the Fairfield just for the night. He said go get some sleep but the room he gave me wasn't ready. When my fiancé expressed displeasure about the room and Judy, Matthew, decided to escalate the situation by calling 911 and falsely claiming my fiancé alone was refusing to leave. He NEVER mentioned me in his report. The following day, discovering additional charges on my account, I returned to the Residence Inn. The woman working day shift IMMEDIATLY began treating me differently because of the night prior. She plastered on a fake smile and then made excuses for helping out 3 other people even though I was there first! Then, instead of helping she provided false information about holds on my account in order to stall me until the her boss showed up. I endured all of this only to discover that the entire night shift fabricated a report about us being violent and aggressive and refusing to leave. The day shift manager fixed the issue and then I left. This experience was a nightmarish sequence of lies and mistreatment. The evening shift staff, particularly Judy, Matthew, and their small security guard. Should reflect on their actions. This Marriott has proven to be the worst I've ever encountered. Potential guests, especially disabled veterans, should exercise caution and explore alternatives such as the LA Quinta Inn across the street. Beware of deceptive reviews; the staff at this establishment appears to be unified in dishonesty, even towards disabled veterans.

I chose this hotel due to its location within a mile from a major government contractor that I needed to visit. I thought, if necessary, I could walk. It was also the cheapest but as I was to be reimbursed that did not really play a part. I was checked in by Sarah who was pleasant and efficient. I was offered the option of what floor I wanted to stay on. The room was set up well with a worktable, large TV, a full kitchen and a great bed. The shower was great, and the room was very clean. For anyone driving, parking is easy and there are a number of restaurants within walking distance. There is a morning breakfast that although not extensive offers hot dishes and other options. The hotel had everything I wanted including a nearby hairstylist where I was able to get a bad haircut fixed. It was great!

Outstanding
Disabled not welcome. We had booked afternoon tea for a party of 9. I am in a wheelchair. There are 3 accessible parking spaces in the back lot, none of them have hash marks for unloading a wheelchair. I had to use a separate entrance from my party, the workers entrance where people are coming in and out with trays of food and where the dumpsters are. Dehumanizing and the staff seemed irritated I was back there. Their website says the main level is wheelchair accessible, and that they have an accessible bathroom. While I was able to get in to the area to have tea, the bathrooms were not even remotely accessible. I have a standard wheelchair that is 24 inches wide, the one bathroom that did not have stairs going down in to it was not able to be navigated by wheelchair. A staff member told me I might have better luck on the 5th floor, where there are stall bathrooms...but the elevator is also not accessible for a standard chair. It is blocked by a door on a hinge that doesn't open wide enough to allow entry. A full sized power chair would be hopeless in most of the building. There is no excuse in this day and age to lack accessibility. The gift shop is also inaccessible. So is the tour. The overall feeling was very hostile and unwelcoming. 3 of our party have celiac disease. There is a $3 upcharge for gluten free food, which much like the accessibility was just a nod to appearances. The scones were miniscule and so dry that my SIL begged for some jam (that doesn't come with them) to try and soften them enough to eat. The regular food had a nice presentation, the gluten free looked pretty much slapped together. It was definitely not worth the $40 price tag. Tea is bagged, and left to steep in the pot. This was a special occasion and most of our party was from out of town. I would not return, there are far nicer and more welcoming places to have afternoon tea that don't discriminate against disabled people.
GGuest UserSpent one night while traveling home from holiday trip. Was very nice room and clean. Breakfast was was good and had nice variety. Staff was friendly and helpful. We've stayed in 3 BW hotels in other parts of the state and this one was the best. Would definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserEsmeralda, Front Desk Associate, deserves many gold stars for her top-notch service. She is so very friendly, approachable, attentive, and professional. Thank you, Esmeralda, for your overall kindness. Hotel is located within a shopping center so there are restaurant and stores within walking distance. Hotel is very clean and well maintained. They are concerned with everyone's safety so doors are locked during the evening hours and access is granted using your room key. Breakfast was made for everyone's needs. Turkey sausage, pork sausage, egg-white omelets, scrambled eggs, world-famous cinnamon rolls, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, etc. Breakfast host kept everything well-stocked and tables clean. Home away from home.
SSHENJIEVery good, high cost performance. It is close to the Garden of the Gods, and it is highly recommended that you enjoy the natural scenery there. The fast food restaurant next to chick fli-A is constantly lined up, so it's good to try it.
My husband and I stayed here 08-07-2023 to 08-10-2023 and it was terrible. We dreaded coming back to the room at the end of the day because of how dirty it was. The shower head in the bathroom hardly sprayed water out because it was so gummed up, the inch and a half of dust hanging from the vent in the bathroom was just peachy. Breakfast is an absolute JOKE! Go ahead and include another $20 a day minimum for breakfast unless anemic waffles are your thing. The wifi is pointless to connect to, just use cellular data or go across the street to McDonald's. The staff is also unnecessarily rude here. The in room refrigerator and microwave both smell absolutely awful and the microwave hardly heats. The sheets stunk and good luck finding anyone to get fresh sheets. Since staying here my husband and I both are dealing with skin infections that we didn't have until we stayed here. Spend the extra money and go across the street to La Quinta!
GGenesis WDO NOT STAY HERE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS WHAT I AM ABOUT TO SAY HAPPENED TONIGHT 9-18-2019. I have never left a review like this or been treated like this in my entire life. My heart aches so much right now. Please read this until the end. I am the mother of 6, a wife and have a masters degree in business administration. Unfortunately I also have cancer. I am having surgery tomorrow and spoke to someone at the hotel before I booked my room. I live close to this hotel in our home with my family and the hospital I am having surgery at tomorrow is near by. I knew the preparation for surgery tomorrow was going to be difficult and I did not want my children or any of my family to have to endure my suffering tonight. To get through the pain and time I am facing we decided it best for me to get to be alone tonight but near our home in case I needed my husband or someone to come to me. I spoke to a male employee at the hotel when I booked my room about getting a late check out. The plan was to go directly from the hotel to the hospital tomorrow but my check in at the hospital is at 2:00pm. I called to see if I could check out at 1:30pm and that is what was agreed to by the man I spoke to when I booked the room. I was told by him that if there was going to be any issues at all he was leaving a message for the manager and I would receive a phone call. Angel, the horrible women that discriminated against me when I went to check in said the man I spoke to no longer works there. I just made the reservation a couple days ago!!!!! Angel refused to allow me to speak to a manager and then said she was the manager for that shift which I am certain is entirely untrue. She accused me of cussing at her which I never ever ever cuss. My husband was standing right there because I am too sick and weak to be able to drive myself and again, surgery is tomorrow so someone dropping me off and picking me up was the idea. He too could not believe this women's horrible behavior. He is a witness to the entire thing. She refused the late check out I had been promised so then I said fine I have the key I will deal with it in the morning and she said she deactivated the key and did not complete my check in and was not honoring my reservation. By this time I was sitting on the floor because I was getting so sick and in so much pain. She yelled at me for sitting on the floor instead of the chairs across the room that they had in the area. I do not generally sit on the floor but sitting in a chair with my legs straight down is extremely painful. My entire family can tell anyone I do not sit in normal chairs right now almost ever. Even at our kitchen table. I can't. Angel then proceeded to say she was calling the police because I was sitting on the floor.........Can you believe it? I am crying by this time and my husband had to just help me up and back to our car which I had a hard time walking to. He helped me get all the way back home where I am sitting in agony as I type this

Shout out to Pamela she was great and helpful! All staff are very friendly. The managers were understanding and helpful with any requests we had. Rooms were clean and the free breakfast was good.
GGuest UserI am absolutely horrified at the fact I stayed here. I saw it was very disgusting, and I figured my husband and I would stay and try it out, BIG MISTAKE. We got a room that I am very sure had mold, our bed sheets were old and most likely dirty. They look like they haven’t been washed in a long time, and there was tons of strains in the sheets. PLEASE do not stay here. There’s a super 8 and Motel 6 about a 5 min walk, much better option.
OK in a pinch. Another hotel that has suffered from lack of maintenance. This place is definitely timeworn. No longer serving breakfast, they directed me to their sister motel across the way. there, they had no fruit, no yogurt, no bread, no muffins or bagels, no waffles or pancakes, no juice, no milk. The dry cereal dispenser did have some cereal in it (all this at around 7AM) but there was a hand-written note next to the cereal bowls that said: ”sorry, out of spoons.” My room this visit was the worst - looked like someone repaired a dirt bike or butchered a farm animal - filthy floor, cigarette holes burned in the chair. I felt like I could catch a disease just looking at the place. See accompanying photo.
