While on a road trip stopped at Green Lodge for lunch. Beautiful spot. Very friendly staff and food was delicious very well presented. If I’m back that way will definitely eat there again. The decor had a lovely vibe. Thanks to all the team especially the chef.

From Sophie who served our table to Kev the chef 5 stars all the way. Sophie was so friendly and served us with a smile on her face and the Mixed grill cooked by Kev was a ten out of ten Definitely recommend and we will be coming again soon Mark Harrison

Had a Sunday roast here with our walking group the place was packed says something the staff were very busy mix of family couples friends. Great big out door seating area some covered . The food was lovely we had to wait a while understandable they were very busy didn’t bother us as it was a great time to catch up with everyone. The management offered us a drink to compensate for the wait nice gesture but we understood not like staff were standing round they were extremely busy. Food came out lovely an hot an very tasty so worth the wait couldn’t fit in a sweet to my disappointment. Lovely place great atmosphere definitely go again an maybe stay next time it’s a great location

Went for a family meal to the Green Lodge such a lovely place, food was beautiful, lovely atmosphere were the staff are so polite and helpful,really friendly barman (Patrick) was nice and polite, will definitely be visiting here again soon.

Went to the Green Lodge for supper with family. Lovely warm welcome and all the staff were so efficient and friendly. We had drinks and then lovely steak and chips and a bottle of red. Service was very efficient, the food was lovely - fresh and hot. There was a lovely relaxed ambience in the pub with families and friends enjoying an evening out and it was dog friendly. The landlady and her team were a joy. Thank you Green Lodge, keep up the great work!

This is a lovely place for an overnight stay. Bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The food in the restaurant was nice and the atmosphere in the pub was fabulous. Any little and I do mean little niggles were totally wiped out by the fabulous staff member Lucy. Every hotel should have a Lucy. She was the most pleasant,smiley and helpful person and she went out of her way with everyone she served. Even arranged for a table to have cheese with their breakfast. I can recommend a stay here and I hope Lucy is here when you stay.

A pub with rooms, this is our go to place when staying in the area. The staff are always friendly serving usual Martin’s menu and drinks. The rooms are always clean and of a good standard. I have given 4 stars purely because it is in need of some refurbishment work. The breakfast is worth the stay on its own they are always tasty and freshly cooked to order, served with the best thing of all a smile.

Arrived at 12,40pm,and got a table. Waited a while before drink order taken-then a 10 minute wait for drinks. Gave our food order at 20 to 1 pm-we asked after 25 mins, how long till food -told-in a while-by 1.20pm-still no food-asked again, and told-in a while-so, we decided to leave!-paid for our drinks, and left to try the The Ring O Bells in West Kirby- we arrived, drinks and food order taken, and delivered in a timely fashion-and was lovely! Lesson learnt!! Will not be back in a hurry!
