The breakfast here was excellent with a wide variety of selections of decent quality and a fresh juice station. The butlers were nice and friendly. Plenty of amenities were available. However even at what appears to be half occupancy rate at the property, there were noisy and littering guests around the relatively small property. The breakfast restaurant also got quite busy at 9am. The villas themselves are relatively well maintained, but there were rusty vent covers in the restrooms. The rooms were spacious but they offered no view. Bedrooms either had no windows or they faced walls about 6 feet away. Dinner service was slightly intrusive as we were asked 3 separate times how our dinner went. Our dishes were hastily collected and were asked to help pass finished dishes even though we've already asked for the check. The staff were nice and the breakfast was good but overall we didn't think the stay matched their ask and the experience they intended to provide. There are other luxury properties in the area provide oceanview villas and better services for the same or less. The management needs to charge less, or get rid of the glaring shortcomings.

Very nice and intime resort. Service is fabolous! Rooms are big and very clean! Loved the bathtub/jacuzzi on balcony! We got our room in floor 3 wich was good. Noi noises or anything. Aircondition worked well! You can walk straight to the ocean from pool and vice versa. Breakfast was the best we’ve had in this whole holiday. And hotels restaurant food was also very delicious! Special thank to lovely staff. They made us feel welcomed from a start to the end of this trip. I wanna mention a special guy from staff : Game who was helping my wife when se had so bad hangover :D also everyday he was very kind and asked if we wanted something, he called his friends when we needed a taxi. Poolside was very quiet and calm. And loved the wind from the sea. Next time we will absolutely book this hotel again! 5 star service and for us this hotel was worth 5 stars!

We checked in when the COVID-19 pandemic happened so expected that most of the facilities would be closed. The staff's service was good and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The downside of our stay was that the in-room phone didn't work. The hotel's staff came to fix it later. One of our MacBooks couldn't connect to the WiFi. Their staff couldn't get it fixed so I used Hotspot from my iPhone, instead. The hotel is in a good location with a bridge connecting it to a nice shopping mall across the road.

My 4 night stay was a little too short. 5 or 6 nights would have been better. On checking in I was greeted with 'Welcome back Mr Kidd'. My last visit to Chiva Som was in June 1999. That's impressive and set the tone for the few days I was there. When I visit a 6 star wellness spa and resort I expect the best and when it meets my expectations I consider that is average for the facility. Chiva Som exceeded my expectations. The hotel operations staff were exceptional all round. Nothing was a problem. The wellness team was superb and so much was inlcuded in the basic package with sensible add-ons at sensible prices. Massage, physio, stretching on-on-one plus group sessions for stretch, tai-chi etc, if you fancy it. The adherence to the times selected for a session was like clockwork and your physio or massager would be ready and waiting to greet you. The organisation was perfect - I did not come across a single hitch. In addition it is often the little things that help to make the difference: 1. Easily readable shampoo, conditioner and bath gel containers. No need to fetch ones specs and still struggle to read the small print. 2. Flat room safe in a leg height drawer - opens upwards like a box - so easy to use. 3. Contemporary light switches, aesthetically right yet easy to use. Specs or instructions not needed. 4. Practical and roomy hanging space and drawers. 5. 4 items per day laundry service within the price. 6. Good worktop desk area for laptop - although we're not supposed to be working the truth is many of us have to do some and a good worktop is a godsend.

Location - It is easy to get to. About 80-100 baht by Grab from central Huahin. You will need a ride to all attractions around Huahin (80 baht + by Grab) including the beach. Memory Value - Great for all ages. Lot of stuff for my little kids. My kids enjoyed the play grounds and the wave pool. They could have played those the whole day. The kids club is also well stocked for cold or rainy days. Monetary value - If you are just paying for the day pass, it is a little expensive for a family. Look for a deal at the Holiday Inn. The price for one night's stay is sometime equal or lower than a day pass for a family at the park. You get two free passes for all guests one night's stay. That is a great value. Kids breakfast buffet and stay free.

Nice resort with activities for kids and food was good. Well located and not too far from mall and right next to Cicada night market. The hotel is a little old and you can see from the overall amenities that it’s a big hotel, aged with lots of travellers. But has everything you need for a family and kids friendly stay. The Barai spa is absolutely stunning although service was a little « cold » and rushed to my taste. Good. Overall good value for money hotel.

1. This homestay is relatively remote, and there is nothing around. The nearest 711 has to walk for 15-20 minutes. The 711 is more lively. We can order food in the home, but we still went out to eat. The area of the homestay itself is not large, but the owner is very careful, the green plants are lush, the swimming pool is very clean, and it is very popular 3. When my mother and I came here, we were the only ones. The next day there was a Chinese family. Overall it is very quiet 4. There are too many mosquitoes in the wild + green plants. I’m only giving this hotel 3 stars. Which might seem harsh. The staff are friendly and helpful apart from the barman on the rooftop. The rooms are clean and tidy and modern, the room I stayed in was low down and had a dingy feel to it, no view of anything other than the other the hotel facing me, with no balcony it gives you a claustrophobic feel and I was pretty keen not to spend to much time in the room, considering the hotel was empty it might have been a smart thing to do, give me a better room! There’s no way I’d stay there again after that. The location isn’t that close to the main attractions, this is why It’s not as expensive as some of the other resorts. It’s not miles away but on the edge of town, 15 min ride in a car, as opposed to walking distance that the other resorts offer and let’s face transportation isn’t expensive, so this may not be a problem for some people. Now the complimentary drink they offer a glass of pineapple juice from the carton poured in a shot glass. I have to mention this because it’s such a joke, why even offer a free drink if this is what it is? You’d have to be Incredibly dumb to think this is a great idea to give your guests. It’s a insult to people staying at the hotel, don’t offer it to them it’s a embarrassment to the hotel and reflection of intelligence’s of who’s running the place. To Summarise it’s not the worst Hotel you’ll ever stay by no means but just silly little things they could improve which would make a world of difference. I will not be back again.

A funky, modern and a semi industrial hotel. Huge rooms, satin sheets, great aircon, balcony overlooking the beautiful swimming pool. Lovely artistic touches everywhere. In the street next to it there is 7/11,lotus,big C and further down the upmarket Blu point mall. Sourdough bakery, Italian restaurant and many other choices. Helpful staff. Only gripe is no English Chanel on the TV. Other than that, top notch and the tariffs will make you smile.

The location is great. Very easy to find. You can walk easily to 7-11 or even Blueport, the department store. Room is clean. Bed is very comfy. Facilities is enough for a solo traveler or even a couple. Their room type has a separate room for male and female which is more convenient for me. Also, there is a cafe on the ground floor which is various type of foods and drinks. You will never have to go out to find something else if you would make the trip just because you need somewhere to rest. Enjoy life. Refreshment yourself from very busy life and work. I love it very much when I woke up to hear the birds and even the hen sang in the morning. This is something I never find in the big city. More importantly, the staff is very polite, patient and very helpful. This is one of the most relaxing trip of mine. Will definitely come back!

The Lapa has a quite unique location, right next to the new BluPort mall. Free parking in front of the hotel. The rooms are amazing, murals on the walls, brightly coloured tiles in the very modern bathroom. Showers tall with lots of space. Very comfortable beds, fridge and safe deposit box in the room. A kettle with coffee and tea provided. It's a really cozy room, with a sitting area at the window. Very clean and freshly painted. Breakfast was good, nice extra is freshly blended fruit juice, which you can chose at a little stall. This is a pet friendly hotel, so we met people travelling with their cats and a couple who brought 2 Yorkshire terriers. Unfortunately they yapped for while whilst the owners went for dinner, but all quiet at night 😊 A really nice place to stay, if you have a car it's not far from the beach or the Cicada Market.
