Hotels Near Yuemeishan Trail in Hualien

Although the hotel is not located in the center of Hualien city, it is a good location for me because my family has a store nearby👍 The attitudes of the counter staff range from cold to quite enthusiastic, but overall they are acceptable. I heard from an aunt who lives in Hualien that this is a very old hotel, but I saw online that it had been renovated, so I booked it for 2 nights for the sake of it being cheap. First of all, I think the biggest drawback is that it can store things. There is very little space, whether it is a platform for storage or hooks to hang on the wall, so I have to create my own storage space😂😂 As for the advantages, it should be that it has everything found in basic hotels😅

The counter service is very enthusiastic. If we need extra pillows, they will be provided quickly. If we have any problems with the order, we will be patient to help. There are many places to sit in the lobby, and free coffee is provided. You can have afternoon tea leisurely and bring your own snacks. Breakfast is also good, including porridge, bread and vegetarian food The booking price is affordable, there is a good breakfast and service, and the room is large enough and clean. It is very suitable for us who have a limited budget and want to take a vacation.

We got upgraded to a bigger quad room with windows for free, which was very nice. Room: The room space may be small if you have many luggages, but there's no complaining at this price range because it's a steal! You can save some space if you bring your luggage to your bedside. An electricity outlet can be found on every bed, which is unquestionably very convenient. Cups, teabags, hairdryer, and slippers are provided. Bathroom: The bathroom is clean, and it is a private bathroom inside the room (not shared bathroom outside the room!). Towels, toothbrush and toothpaste are provided as well. Public area: There is a public area (like a kitchen) and an outdoor sitting area on the ground floor where you can make your own coffee or milk tea (which are provided there). Water dispenser can also be found there. There's a friendly (wild) cat too! Service: The staff was friendly and helpful. Luggage storage: If you're looking to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out, your luggage will just be stored on the corridor beside the counter with no safety other than ”name labels”. Safety: Password will be required for entry into the inn after certain time at night. Location: The inn is located close to the bus station, but some walking may be needed (which won't take long unless you carry big luggages). Convenience stores and some restaurants can be found within walking distance from the inn.

Service was courteous at the front desk. They were very kind to give me a room before 3pm knowing that I had traveled more than 17 hours and really need to rest. Restaurant service was very slow. They were short of staff. No one was around to take my bill. Food was average. Really liked their cold dish with lotus root and red bean. Dinner buffet was very pricey. Couldn’t quite justify $30 per person. I was disappointed when I went back for the breakfast buffet. They served the same cold dishes and fruits from the previous night. Felt like we were eating leftovers. I picked this hotel because of their outdoor pool. It’s an outdoor 25 meter pool. It was lovely swimming laps and enjoyed the ocean view.

In my opinion, Parkview Hotel is one of the nicest hotel for families in Hualien. The deluxe family room we booked has 2 queen beds and very spacious. The breakfast buffet is nice, with a good collection of traditional ********* congee breakfast and international selection such as omelette station, salad, etc. There is a dedicated indoor haven for children with all sorts of games from go cart, different kinds of video games, etc. There's indoor pool, gym, pool table, etc for adults. There's also a coin operated laundry machine and dryer.

The homestay is very comfortable and new. Although there is no kitchen, we are not open anyway. There are KTVs to sing, and there are electric mahjong tables. It is also very close to the city. It is very convenient to buy things and the price is very real.
