Room was as expected, and the staff let us check in early in the morning when we arrived because the room was available. Everything was generally clean, except for some of the out-of-reach spaces. Interesting that they provided disposable bath towels, but that wasn't inconvenient. Lots of small grocery stores and eateries along the same road, so it's convenient to get some food. And while it's geographically near the Xizha, it's still a distance from the entrance of Xizha. It's walkable (around 20min), but a Didi should get you to and fro the hotel quite quickly and affordably.

I brought my parents to Wuzhen. The hotel is very close to the scenic spot and the taxi starting price is about 100%. Generally speaking, it is a very good homestay. The owner is friendly and will introduce fun places. There are cats on the first floor. The coffee atmosphere is very leisurely. We booked a family room, which is very spacious and clean! I forgot my clothes when I checked out. I contacted the owner and he helped me mail them very quickly. I was so touched!!!

It is great to stay in such a wonderful hotel. The room is clean and cosy. Anyway, the femal receptionist at the service customer area near the ticket box and the girl who is in charge of our check-in should be more professional by at least smiling at us when we need help. They were just so annoying. Just one thing that made our trip less intersting. Other things were perfect.

My boyfriend and I both love this homestay. The owners are very helpful and friendly. Even though their rooms are near the road, but their windows are very insulated so the room is very quiet. The owners extra amount to help us whenever we need help or we ask a question they really take good care of us. The towels are exceptionally clean when we are staying there. We will recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a pleasant day in Wu Zhen.

The hotel is situated around 7-10 mins walk from the Wuzhen Scenic West Gate. There are plenty of eateries around. The hotel is modern and clean, thus for those who are looking for a cleaner and comfortable place to stay instead of inside the old style scenic area, this is the place to be. However, there are two areas of improvements for the hotel. First being the variety of breakfast, it has a large spread but the items are the same if you are staying for 2 nights and having 2 consecutive breakfast. In addition, during the winter, the heater is turned on centrally thus guest unable to adjust the room temperature. At one point of the night, our room was as hot as 27.5 degrees Celsius even though the outside temperature is at zero degrees. Had to open the window to let some cool air in given that it became to hot and stuffy to sleep in.

Wuzhen Tong'an Inn is located in Wuzhen West Scenaric Area. Very convenient location. Decoration theme of the lobby made me felt like I stayed in the ancient house. Facility in room is very good. There is no elevator but hotel staffs helps carried my luggage to my room. Staffs were nice with good service mind but none of them can speak English and I have to use Baidu and Google Translation to talk with them. There are various food for breakfast and the taste is very OK.

We stayed at 16C, restaurant is downstairs and rooms are upstairs. Room is clean and has all the basic necessities such as hair dryer, slipper, toothbrush. Not sound proof so u can hear other guests talking if they don’t lower their volume. Wuzhen is beautiful but was so crowded on Sunday which “ruined” your mood. I believe better to come on weekday / off season.

TTeo792the villa is located in a huge resort surounded by mountains and forest. the villa itself cozy and the view is wild ,seperated from other bungalows so it is great to cut yourself from the people. Inside the villa, the standard is Ok even if the toilet room smelt and there was a leakage on one of the window. The bed is comfy but the pillows not really. However when it comes to services, there is plenty of room for improvements (especially for this price). even if we got a personal assistant. no possibility to book the restaurant or breakfast in advance. So often there is a long queue.

MMyraNOverall, I enjoyed my stay here, especially for the dogs. The hotel has a great enclosed grass space for them to play in while there were patio chairs and tables for us to chill, have a drink, and enjoy the mountain views. It’s a very peaceful and quiet place at the top of Wangwei Mountain. I was surprised about this since we came during the national holidays so I still expected there to be a lot of cars or other hotels around. But actually, we were about to walk pass the park lot and go down a small road that had no one for ages. Both sides were lined with bamboo trees and it was a perfect path to explore or do a bit of jogging. In fact, we even came back at night and brought some foldable chairs from the hotel to go past the lights and look at the stars. The hotel itself had clean rooms, friendly staff, and a lot of random places for you to sit at and read a book or hang with friends. The only thing I would have wanted was for them to have a filtering system for the pool. Since we’re surrounded by nature there’s just a lot of bugs around and even after the staff cleaned the pool, there were still small bugs. But since we came for the greenery, it wasn’t too much of a big deal. Would definitely recommend driving up yourself or hiring a driver since it’s not easy to get to other places from the hotel. They have the one farmhouse to eat at which has pretty good food but nothing else. We came prepared with snacks and drinks and I still wished we brought more haha, especially since we didn’t leave the mountain for one of the days. Would definitely recommend for the beauty of the place but come prepared!

I invited us to drink coffee in the morning and chatted about a lot of travel experiences together. It was very enthusiastic, but it would not make you feel pressured. CChomiczOverpriced family hotel with outstanding views but room for improvement. I reserved the room a week before arrival, which meant the room rate was almost 2000 RMB a night. At this price, I was expecting excellence and arrived to mediocrity. I travelled with a Chinese friend and when we arrived, although the room was booked in my name, they chose to speak to my companion. When I tried to speak, the staff smiled condescendingly and then continued to talk to my friend. I was surprised to receive xenophobic behaviour in modern China, especially since I can converse in Chinese and there are many translation and AI chatbots to assist with communication. We walked to the room and on inspection we discovered the door hinge was broken, dust and hair on the floor, hair on the mattress which was accompanied by a yellow stain (photos 3-7). As the staff couldn't communicate in English, I messaged Trip.com and decide to resolve the issues the following day. The staff had been informed of the poor quality of the check-in and the cleanliness of the room and offered to upgrade us to their sister hotel, Banshanyinzhu Resort. The view from the room (photo 1 & 2) was stunning and the room looked pristine how on inspection the room had not been deep cleaned since either its construction or refurbishment with dust in the high shelves, on the shower head, sawdust behind the bedhead, leftover building materials under both sinks (photo 8-11). We informed the hotel, as we had been given a WeChat, and they came to witness the simple inspection. They offered to move us again but as this was our last night and we chose to stay based upon the views and then went to dinner which the hotel offered as part of compensation for the previous night. Arriving at the restaurant, uncleanness was concurrent theme (photos 12-14) with the dishes not being clean and the lazy suzanne not being wiped down. Fortunately the completely meal for two was well portioned and seasoned (photos 15-18). After a filling and tasty meal, I had a shower and felt a slight pain on my foot to discover that the nails attaching the carpet protruded through and some flooring was broken causing a minor scratch. All of this could have been avoided had the staff been more diligent. Did I overpay? Yes Was the service mediocre? Yes Are these challenges easy to overcome? Yes Have other customers made similar complaints? Yes Will the hotel improve? I hope so Is the location memorable andbeautiful? Yes Would I revisit? Yes Regardless of the fact they have some untrained and unprofessional employees and they need to improve their cleaning standard and ensure that maintenance does a proper inspection after a fit and finish, the location is great and it's very easy to get into the park. It's very family orientated and I'm sure children could make lifelong friends here. If you're considering going, I'd highly recommend price watching. It's not a perfect product so don't overpay, like I did, and expect a 5☆ experience.
