This hotel was a nice location, fantastic pool inside and out. Spa was fantastic. Many amenities and good breakfast. The only things are the AC and fridge did not work and we were told it was « too hot » .

Such a beautiful hotel with professional yet friendly and helpful staff. Especially Lidje the receptionist she went beyond her way to make it enjoyable for us when we visited at low season not much was open. I thank everyone from cleaner and waiters were amazing. Highly recommended.

1. Bringing children is charged an additional fee of 100 euros per night, which is very unsatisfactory. 2. The room is not soundproofed, it is very noisy outside. I live on the fourth floor and the noise upstairs is very loud.

The hotel is good, but not much more than that. Very boring breakfast. When we arrived at the hotel before 14 and went to the reception, we did not receive a welcome but a phrase that we would come back after 14, not at all welcomed or control of rooms etc. It was okay to use the pool area before check-in but then we weren't allowed to sit on the sunbeds. The hotel is close to the promenade and several good restaurants around, but the area is quite boring and very touristy and therefore less charming.

advantage Large swimming pool with fully open water circulation, good water quality, allowing children to dive. Outside the swimming pool is the beach, you can freely switch between 🌊 swimming and swimming in the swimming pool. New hotel, new decoration, good service. There are many varieties of breakfast, very rich, and there are many batches of food supplements. shortcoming The foreigner's tune, the single bed, and the decoration are considered to be at the level of domestic economic hotel decoration.

The hotel is beautiful, gardens stunning so much that its selfie central. Only did bed and breakfast- no issues at all just what we needed . Pool area plenty of bed etc and only saw towels moved once . Can get a bit crazy with children but we just sat in a corner . Prices a bit too pricey in hotel which I don't think is necessary as paying double compared to bars around.'

First time visitor to Montenegro and I believe I have stumbled across a stunning location and hotel. Went with Jet2. Nice large room with excellent bathroom and shower. The pool is 30 yard walk from the hotel and has beautiful views of Italy and the bay in front. Lots of restaurants and bars are adjacent and plenty of choice.

Before writing a review on an actually half decent hotel you need to know that there is an open air disco every night from 1st July to 1st September, across the bay in Igalo. It’s like having your own personal disco in your room until 2am. We travelled with Tui who clearly knew of this issue and send people there anyway. Also the travelling to Montenegro at that time of year is a nightmare if you land in Dubrovnik, which again Tui do and they are aware of border issues and delays but send paying customers anyway! Those things aside the hotel: Room clean and well presented - a touch small. Overall the hotel was well kept and felt high standard. Food in the hotel wasn’t great, breakfast was passable but dinner and the ‘gourmet’ restaurant were not. Food locally wasn’t up to much either. Lots of pizzas places. Spa was nice. Swimming pool and beach area were lovely with lots of bed availability, this would have been further improved if the staff didn’t allow people to leave unattended towels all day - some people sat for an hour or two then just left towels on beds for the rest of the day. But well maintained and open until 8pm. I would not return, Montenegro doesn’t have much to offer currently, the hotel was nice but nothing special and the blatant issues with the disco and the border being ignored by Tui are just not OK.

Just back last night from his beautiful hotel What can I say about it ? Service at the front desk was great The young man who helped us to our room was a credit to the hotel very friendly and helpful. Staff at the pool were all lovely If fact most staff we came across were very friendly…some could maybe smile a wee bit more as a smile does go a long way and costs nothing. The hotel is beautiful tasteful decorated very clean and well maintained. The garden is beautiful Rooftop bar is amazing with fantastic views would definitely recommend for drinks Pool bar was great for a morning coffee afternoon snack and let’s not forget a cool beer or G&T We had drinks at night outside the lobby bar looking into the beautiful garden Our bedroom has got to be the best room we have ever had on holiday room 1007 great size with everything we needed, was lovely and quiet room location side of the hotel looking onto a hedge this was perfect for us ,you can still hear the sea Our terrace was a good size to sit out at night for pre drinks when getting ready for dinner. Happy to see there was a small fridge in our room was filled with drinks we choose to purchase our own at the local shop at a much cheaper price. There was also a coffee machine in our room Hair dryer Loads off storage space The bed was huge and very comfortable we both had a great sleep every night Clean towels everyday Spotless…housekeeping staff definitely do a great job. What was also really good there is carpet out in the hallway so you don’t hear people coming and going. Husband even got to watch the football in our room one happy man Pool Again very clean Good size pool only negative is it could do with hand rails to help you get in and out. You get a clean beach towel everyday which is nice! So no need to bring one Loads of sun beds again no need to get up at crazy hours…this is such a bonus You can have space to move your bed around so you’re not like sardines in a tin . There is also a small private beach ️ plenty of beds and umbrellas. Nice shower area back of the bar area to wash down. Love that there was no hassle round the pool, lovely and relaxing. Pool bar is a bit more expensive in the hotel we didn’t mind 6e beer 7e for G&T 6.5e for fizz was so excited they had Prosecco by the glass ! Food We only had breakfast twice as we were always still full from the night before There was plenty to pick from I’m sure you would find something to eat. We did have snacks at the pool bar a few times I had chicken salad ,burger both good Ice cream was good 1e for one scoop You can pay cash ,card or put to your room No complaints from us Never had dinner in the hotel so can’t comment. Outside the hotel Walk way has been getting renovated looking good nearly finished So many amazing restaurants round about fantastic views and very good food Even just to sit and enjoy with a bottle of local wine at night or a water/coffee in the morning There are loads of shops also

Fantastic hotel with sea views to match, friendly staff, very clean and spacious room - superior with sea view, very good buffet breakfast and staff always keeping tables clean of clutter for the next guests to enjoy, gardens are immaculate and private pool and beach area for Hotel guests is very well maintained with bar and toilets which are spotlessly clean, the promenade which runs along rear of hotel is a great place to walk in both directions with plenty of lovely restaurants shops small market shops and stall traders who unlike some resorts do not pester you into buying something, they are helpful and are happy to let you browse without buying something, prices are very reasonable - inexpensive compared to other European resorts, in my opinion the veiws are better than that of the fjords, weather is very hot without the wind and rain of the Caribbean, having previously visited rodney bay in St lucia, we rated it 6 out of 10, this hotel and resort we rate 10 out of 10, a little paradise in europe, it is currently being built up with new hotels and having its first golf course being made, I can thoroughly recommend this Hotel and resort

Stayed for a week here but could have stayed longer. We had a room on 7th floor with side sea view, was small room but tastefully decorated, gorgeous views , complementary toiletries. Room had a safe , fridge & tv. Disappointed it didn’t have tea & coffee making facilities. Hotel it’s self very clean and modern, lovely gardens. Staff nice. We were b&b so only experienced breakfast was very good, had everything really you would need or want in the morning, omelettes, fried eggs, bacon, cheeses, hams , fruit, yoghurt ,toast with jams & honey, cereal etc etc didn’t disappoint. Didn’t go to the restaurant so can’t comment but the cocktail bar with plunge pool very nice but even with 20% off cocktails was a bit more expensive. Beach/pool are was kept clean & tidy, pool towels everyday, lots of sun beds either round pool area, beach area or on the jetty area overlooking the sea. Pool bar food nice very large portions, prices as you’d expect. Drinks more expensive but convenient. Also nice kids pool. Glad wasn’t one of those hotel where everyone reserves sun beds then disappeared. The hotel was on the promenade from the back entrance which is undergoing a refurb & was starting to look very nice. Lots of bars and restaurants, shops, ice cream sellers etc. Some kids rides & arcades. You crossed the prom to get to the pool/ beach. Weather very hot for first 5 days between 37 degrees to 31 degrees. Enjoyed every minute of Herceg Novi and Palmon Bay Hotel, would or will stay there again on our next visit. Booked a day trip to Dubrovnik by coach directly at the hotel, was nice about 1 hour away. Lots of trips to do. We flew to Tivat chaos at airport. But nice little ferry ride to resort.

This is quite a tricky review to write as although I’m keen not to be too disparaging about this hotel, there are lots that need improving on to warrant a 4 star stay. Firstly, on arrival. We arrived approx 2 hours before the official check in. Reception staff were rude, abrupt and unhelpful and very quick to say that if we wanted to use any hotel facilities before 2pm then we would be charged to do so. We were not expecting our room to be ready, far from it. But this is the first place we have stayed where we have been told you cannot use the facilities until your room is ready, unless you are prepared to pay. The room was lovely. Very spacious and very clean with a sea view (this was a paid for upgrade though!) Bottle of water, cakes and welcome note in the room was a nice touch. Breakfast was good, not outstanding but perfectly acceptable. We didn’t eat at all in the hotel other than breakfast as there are so many reasonably priced tavernas nearby with fabulous fresh fish on offer. The spa was lovely. Although lacking in enough loungers at busy times and the steam room had an absolutely terrible smell. Again, the staff at the spa were not particularly friendly or smiley, which was a real shame. The beach area was nice, although cleanliness around the pool areas left a lot to be desired with rubbish, bottles and cigarette ends not cleared up. I swam in the sea a few times and I’m sad to say I’ve never swam anywhere with so much rubbish on the seabed. Also the big fountain in the swimming pool was not turned on the whole time we stayed, although they were able to turn it on for the last evening after the beach club had closed for a private wedding party. Swim safely left a lot to be desired with boats coming and going and even picking up guests from the swim platform with nobody from the hotel checking that there were no swimmers in the water who may have been seriously injured (or worse!) by the incoming boats. Overall the stay was peaceful and relaxing and mostly enjoyable, until our final night, when an on-site wedding absolutely shattered the peace with ridiculously loud music until gone 1am. On check out I reported to the reception team that this wasn’t really acceptable for holiday makers trying to relax to have to put up with that level of noise until the early hours. Reception team truly could not care less, telling me it was legal to play music until 1am. Nowhere in the details about this hotel does it say they are a wedding venue and nowhere does it say there is likely to be serious disturbance for guests until the early hours of the morning. Even when the receptionist spoke to the hotel manager about our negative experience the attitude was “tough”. This is poor, short sighted and sadly will stop us visiting this hotel again. The strict running of the hotel seems to take priority, whereas in our view guest experience should definitely come first.

The hotel is excellent We had a lovely sea view although the room was one of the smaller rooms we had amble space and clothes hanging area. I did take my own kettle as there isn’t one provided but there is a fridge. We had breakfast at the hotel which was very good lots to choose from. We did eat in the roof top restaurant one night which was good quality. There are many places to eat near by and reasonable prices. A good supermarket just across the road and to the right. Staff were helpful and friendly. Pool area great and plenty of sunbeds and parasols. Further from the airport than we expected including a short ferry ride which was pretty. Definitely worth it though.

Hotel looked lovely outside but our room was very basic and was supposed to have an inland view (we had views of the air conditioning units). The fridge was not working so asked for it to be repaired the engineer came up and moved the shelf and we did not have a fridge for the 2 weeks. Could not get air conditioning to work has to be done from reception but it kept going off one day we had to phone and say no it was not working again and got told to shut the door (very rude person) asked for engineer to come up and he found other door was broken we did not know this opened. Pool area lovely great restaurants just outside hotel, we only went bed and breakfast which was really good but heard from friends we met the food at night was not worth the money. We did the trip to Kotor old town which was busy with 2 cruise ships that day so very busy, lovely old town. 1 week would have been enough unless you are adventurous and hire a car. Weather too hot in August. Would not be back.
