Apart from the lack of car parking spaces, not bad. Good location, close to the town Centre, room was a good size and tidy, maybe the carpets could do with a Hoover, breakfast was a hot self served breakfast and the staff was friendly. Would come again.

Noora never fails to go above and beyond every time we touch base, never fails to accommodate us fully and provides excellent customer service. Towels needed no problem toilet roll no problem parking info. Absolutely anything needed ask Noora. We stay in a variety of travelodge locations Inc Barking Becton Dagenham Ilford etc and would recommend any travelodge to family and friends.

Stayed there for 1 night, and I was surprised what I get for the price I paid. Nice view from the terrace, specious room and excellent staff members. Bonus of free Wi-Fi in the room which is important for my work. definitely coming back once in the area.

The room is clean and very cost-effective. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but there is a good restaurant next door. It is a simple and clear express hotel, suitable for family travel. It is some distance from the subway station, about 30 minutes' walk!

To whom it may concern I wish to complain about my experience with the Canary Wharf point A hotel on the 24th of March. I was very disappointed with the service and lack of professionalism members of staff showed me and my friends during our short time at the hotel. Firstly, we got told to turn the music down which I totally understand and respected, after turning the music right down we get another knock on the door and once again it was security and a female member of staff claiming we were doing drugs and smoking (which really upset and offended me as I have recently lost a close friend to drug use). I offered them to come and search the room to prove we had no drugs and weren’t smoking but they were having none of it and told us we had to leave. To make it even worse they also made my other two friends leave who were in a totally separate room with no reason or evidence of this supposed drug use and smoking. I tried explaining that we have travelled from Sunderland and would be stranded with no where to stay but I was ignored and told to leave. Before we left the same female member of staff told us the manager has told them to make us leave she then gave us a card with a number to get hold of the manager which we rung immediately after leaving. If our experience with the hotel and service wasn’t bad enough, we then get told on the phone there’s no manager in the building which makes me believe the manager never told anyone to kick us out. In total we spent around 2 hours in the hotel and when I asked about getting a refund I got totally blanked and ignored. I have also emailed Canary Wharf point A hotel to express my disappointment with how we were treated but have not received a reply at this moment. I stayed at this hotel with my sisters and we had 2 rooms. The reception staff was very pleasant, helpful and professional. We arrived about an hour before check in time and were pleasantly surprised as the rooms were ready . Spacious rooms , well maintained and clean . The bed linen etc was also very good . We actually ate dinner at the restaurant and it was freshly made and good value . Breakfast next day was also plentiful. The hotel was quite busy but staff seemed to be working very hard .

We stayed at the Guesthouse for a week while working at the local ExCel Centre. The guest house is surrounded by many local takeaways and close to free parking out of normal business hours. (7:30-6pm Mon-Fri chargeble free the rest of the time) The accommodation has its own entrance which is accessible by a fob. Through the door leads you to a set of stairs that sits above the pub. Check in for us was speaking to the bar manager. The room was great value. Just be aware that on a Friday and Saturday Night the pubs live music can be heard but i did love the hotel provided ear plugs as standard in the rooms to aid sleep if you don't like live music. We both enjoyed it and would stay again.

We always stay at the Lion & Key when we visit London and have been fortunate enough to stay here again in October, December, and also January for my husbands 80th birthday. This really is the ”Savoy” of the small hotels in London and we always know without fail, we will have the most perfect stay. All the staff genuinely care about their guests having the best experience and you cannot fault the care and attention to detail that this hotel takes to ensure an excellent customer experience. They have a great team of which we would like to thank Giorgio, Kanti and Stephania for making all our visits a home away from home. The rooms and also public areas in the hotel are kept pristinely clean and are bright and cheerful. I love the attention to detail this hotel has even with the smallest thing. i.e. the shower cap in the bathroom also has a small hairband in the box ,which is excellent if you have long hair and can’t find your own! The beds are also extremely comfortable and we both always have an excellent night sleep. We love the open kitchen where you can see all the food being freshly prepared and cooked to order. They are very generous with their breakfast time which doesn’t end until 12 o’clock lunchtime. The choice and range that they offer in their restaurant, regardless of breakfast or main meals throughout the day would accommodate even the most fussiest eaters, which I am, but even I am extremely spoilt for choice as the breakfast menu is so comprehensive. The quality of the ingredients used in the restaurant is first class and so is the time and care in presentation which also reflects the pride that they take. We can honestly say that the breakfast’s we have at the L&K are the most tastiest, freshest, consistently perfect breakfast’s we have ever had and far exceed the quality that we have experienced over the years in 4 & 5 star hotels. To be honest, we often wonder how they continuously provide such care and attention to detail for the customer, even more so since Covid as many many hotels and restaurants seem to still use this as an excuse for a less than perfect service or menu range. We must’ve had over 100 of breakfasts since we have been coming here in 2018 and the eggs are always perfectly cooked with a lovely orange yolk, regardless of whether it’s a normal full English breakfast, or my husbands favorite the Egg Royale. We very rarely eat sausages or bacon at home, but the quality and taste of the ones here are amazing, so we always, always enjoy our breakfast which set us up for exploring all day. The transport links to this hotel are excellent as well. There are four buses that go past the hotel to Leyton underground, one of which is running 24 hours and they seem to come by every few minutes. Stratford is only four stops from Leyton so excellent connections for overground, DLR, O2 etc. Liverpool Street is the next stop along for even more connections so the location we find is a great asset to wherever we
