Well, for the price this place fit our family, put us close to the action of Branson and was close to the lake. We enjoyed the forested area and that the A-frame we stayed in could have slept 3 couples easily. The lights weren't on at night and my wife fell down some stairs. She was ok but the next night: my 70 year old mother in law fell off a 3 foot retaining wall. She broke her elbow and will need surgery. This could have been avoided if the lights had been on. We called management to let them know and to suggest installing lights for safety. We were disappointed in their response when they said it was an accident, wasn't their fault, and were purely defensive not even asking if she was ok... Sad. Also, the next night.. lights were on! Turned out they had them the whole time just weren't turned on! Night one in our A-frame I saw a mouse (he ran across my son, wife and my feet lol). I figured it was a cabin in the forest so.. I let it go. Daily, things started disappearing and we realized the mouse was back. We called the management who proved 4 glue traps. I set them out and in 15 hours we had caught 4 mice... So... There were more than we thought. Kind of nasty we weren't able to let our 9 month old crawl around out of fear of the mice and the wonderful things they bring with. Management apologized when we told them what happened... That's it lol so as much as I liked the price, location and pool.. I just don't know if I'd want to stay here again. Lessons learned for the owners: act like a human when someone is hurt. Just apologize or ask if they're ok.. I'm sure lights couldn't be that expensive to install, and can you really put a price on safety? Be proactive when sealing holes and setting traps to bar non paying furry guests.
