No one on site after-hours for issues… such as the banging on our door and jiggling of our door handle for most of the night and early morning! Was it a ghost or a drunk patron? No idea, but it certainly impacted the quality of sleep we got that night!

We had a wonderful stay at Black Friars! Our room was very spacious and comfortable and we heard no noise from the pub or street below. It is very conveniently located in downtown Inverness, just a few minutes' walk from the train station, and very close to the river and the shops. The pub below is great and has very nice staff and tasty food. We would absolutely stay again if and when we return to the area!

Very pleasant room, friendly and helpful staff. Pub downstairs had good food and lovely ambiance. Was unsure at first staying above a pub as I was travelling with my child, but it felt comfortable and safe.

Stayed one night before Marathon, didn't eat or drink there but it looked nice and a good atmosphere. Rooms were great. We had a family room with bunkbeds in a separate room with their own TV, so it was ideal. beds very comfortable. There was some noise outside as it was a saturday night but not too bad.
They seemed to have forgotten to top up teabags, but we had peppermint and earl grey instead.
Parking was offsite but reasonably priced. Unfortunately we didn't know it was offsite when we initially booked, but 2 days parking was £13 at Rose street, so not bad.

Room was okay- but for the price it was a let down. Breakfast was some cornflakes, yogurt and canned fruit - poor. Bar was uninviting with limited beer options. Parking was only available at the garage a few blocks away. Staff seemed mostly looking forward to having their shift end. Must be better options.

The staff are all friendly and helpful especially Nikki. The room was lovely, the large shower perfect and the bed was very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Everyone in Inverness was very friendly and welcoming we would love to go back in the future.
