"This hotel seems to get some bad reviews but I think many are unfair. From what we experienced it was a good hotel, great location and the person who checked us in was very good. Especially as the she had to handle an awkward customer ahead of us. Bed was very big and had a good mattress. Usual stuff you want in a hotel room and nice complimentary toiletries.
Location of the hotel is ideal for exploring Inverness centre, less than a 10 min walk to the most famous bank machine in Inverness (IYKYK). There is limited parking but a reasonably priced multi story car park is only a few mins walk away.
Staircase in reception area leading to the first floor is also very impressive."
"The hotel location was good, very near town centre and close by to a multiple levels car park with electric car charging options, 24 hours was only £9.00. Food menu wasn’t big but nice food overall."
"We had a fantastic stay at Kingsmill Hotel. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the golf course which was beautiful. The bathroom was cleaned perfectly with no dust or mould. The kingside bed was huge and very comfortable. We would stay again."
"Good hotel but, for their regular double room, over priced. The Glen Mhor is basically a collection of former B&B establishments which have been taken over and redeveloped. This means that the majority of rooms are in neighbouring buildings so a bit of a walk is involved! I have stayed here before and each time found myself in a small double room. They are clean, well decorated and fine for an overnight stay. On the downside, they tend to be so small that there is no room for a chair or workspace. This time around we opted for the breakfast package. The restaurant was right at the opposite end of the complex but the walk along to it was pleasant. The breakfast itself was excellent. Staff were incredibly attentive and the range of food on offer was very good.
Would I stay again? That would depend on the package on offer. I wouldn't opt for a 'room only' given the small size - there are plenty Premier Inns around which, to be fair, are of an equal, if not higher standard to the standard double rooms at Glen Mhor. Location is excellent for the city centre and depending when you travel, there is plenty parking available. "
"What a fantastic hotel! The location is perfect - right in the centre of Inverness! We needed an early check in and the staff promptly attended our request. The bed is 5*, the washroom is also 5* level! Great experience and will definitely return on my next visit to Scotland and the Highlands!"
"All staff were very nice and friendly. The room was lovely and clean, although the hotel is a bit tired looking. Shower had no hot water, which was a pain! Breakfast was average but buffet style and plenty of it. Breakfast could easily be upgraded with better bread for toasting, not the cheap stuff! Food and drinks were hot and tasty enough. For the price, I expected a more classy breakfast."

"Nice location, facilities, and super friendly staff 🥰 Me and my family had a good stay in this hostel, will definitely choose here when we visit Inverness next time!!!"
"Lots to love but room for a few improvements.
The biggest is the doors on the rooms. They are heavy wooden doors and slam really loud. As you can imagine that’s quite annoying when people go in and out waking people up
Bathroom door rotten at bottom from damp, needs replaced, looks awful.
Cleaning under sinks and taps in bathrooms, the things you see when you sit in the bath!!
Painting of the room could be a bit tidier, white paint all over grey radiator pipes.
Cleaners could be a bit more gentler when hoovering, they batter the radiator pipes in the rooms and it vibrates to the room your in , next door!
Out of stock of some flavours for cocktails, young staff seen with mobile phones very casually. Move out of sight, the customer / service are important
Food is expensive for the quality you get too"
"A very well situated hotel right in the centre of Inverness and just a few minutes walk from the central train station. Surrounding the hotel are plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops which is great and you’re also very close to the bus station for taking trips out of town. The room was basic and a little bit tired (some dents and scratches, frayed carpet) but otherwise was clean and tastefully decorated with basic amenities like a kettle, hair dryer, tea bags, a large TV, so on. We were facing the main road so on Saturday evening it was quite loud but the reception desk provided us with ear plugs upon request which were more than adequate. We would come back to this hotel again next time we’re in Inverness."

Great
GGuest UserVery beautiful hotel, just renovated, very clean, the fly in the ointment is that there is no hot bath, the staff's explanation is that the facilities are outdated, and the hotel guests are not enough to use hot water at the same time. Traditional breakfast is delicious and very rich
GGuest UserThe room is spacious and clean. The only hiccup was that, at first, we got a room with a double bed despite booking a family room on Trip.com. When I asked the reception staff, she said there was no family room per se in the building, and in the booking that they had, it didn't say that I wanted a family room or how many people would be sleeping in the room. For them, a family room is a room with a double bed and an extra bed. The staff managed to change our room to one with an extra bed ready, so it wasn't a problem.
LLishBWe arrived later afternoon Andy received us with biscuits what a warm welcome. It has a homely feel with old school locking key, had a fish supper which compliments to the chef Peter was fabulous, great dinner atmosphere with other guests at restaurant and bar/lounge.
Spacious clean room, quality linen and warm enough one minus next door guy snored through our walls (not hotel's fault).
The hot breakfast was served to order which is fab as it gets to you hot and fresh also avoiding waste and dry dull food. So keep it up guys. And keep getting everyone up early enough.
LLea_LPWe arrived after 11:30pm due to road closures. The hotel staff waited kindly for us to check in. (We called at 10pm to inform the tardiness)
Much appreciated.
GGuest UserGreat place to stay! Very cozy and right next to the music shop on Church Street, so really central.
Comfortable bed and really great shower. Have to say it was lovely to have shampoo and conditioner provided that wasn’t like washing up liquid. Would happily stay there again.
YYONGJust next to the Loch Ness Exhibition Hall, the parking space in the exhibition hall is the parking space of the hotel. Just stop and don't need money. You can park your car next to the hotel after 6pm. In fact, this is a motel, the room is upstairs (feeling is 2nd floor and a half, big luggage is hard to move, more fitness), no elevator, the room is large, there is a small bed, it is suitable for a family of three. Clean and well equipped. Breakfast is not included in the room rate and breakfast is available at the first floor for breakfast. There is dinner on the 2nd floor, the price is cheap, the taste is ok.
朱朱Hostel hotel. Very quiet nearby. Walk 15 minutes to the downtown area. There is a parking lot. Breakfast is to be done by yourself and the hotel supplies all materials and equipment. Overall feels good
