A Mid-Island Gem We'll Definitely Return To This was our fourth visit to the island and our first time staying at Villas Keh. We were very impressed. The location is perfect for us, mid island, away from the craziness of Playa Norte but still close to everything via golf cart or short taxi ride. This property in particular is walking distance to a few favorites: Oscar’s Grill, La Hach, and Cochinita Pios. The unit was immaculately clean when we arrived and re-cleaned (and stocked) every other day. That was a huge perk for us as we usually rent houses rather than "hotels". Fresh water was provided in a water cooler that also had a hot water dispenser. Another huge perk! The showers are large with consistently hot water, the beds are big and comfortable, and there are plugs and mirrors everywhere which makes the unit very user friendly. The AC is exceptionally cold and we had to set it pretty high if we used it at all. It was nice having AC in the living area as well as many properties on the island don’t. We didn’t use the patio much, but I would have liked to have taken advantage of the provided grill—just didn’t have the time. I also regret not taking advantage of the pool which was also immaculate and vacant during our stay. All in all, a great mid-island option that’s clean, comfortable, easy, and really pays attention to detail. We definitely recommend!

Villa Keh is a great place to stay and Marianna is awesome to work with! We rented the whole complex. In the lower apartment was our friends ( a family of 5. -2 parents with 3 teenage sons) the upper apartment was our family (4 adults and 3 small children). We had plenty of space. Each apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The living room has a comfy futon that has a trundle bed under it (slept two teens or 3 children comfortably). There is also a kitchen with stove, refrigerator and microwave. Each apartment had a private outside space with a table chairs and clothes line. The pool area was a nice place to gather as a whole group. The dipping pool was big enough for several people to relax in or for kids to splash in. It was about 4 foot deep. The complex is 1/2 a block from Oscar’s - which had AMAZING food and drinks. It is also within walking distance to little stores for amnesties and local food stands. You live like a local in your own gated area. The lady across the street from the entrance to Villa Keh had baked goods for sale a couple nights while we were there . The cake was delicious! We felt safe, had everything we needed and had a blast away from the craziness of the busy areas. We did rent a golf cart to explore the island but you could easily cab to any destination for 150 pesos by walking down the hill to Oscar’s (2 buildings and across the street) Marianna was great to work with. She was very attentive to all of our questions and needs before and during our trip. She made us feel welcomed and wanted. She even advocated and supported us when our friends had an issue with a local golf cart company (DONT USE GOMAR GOLF CART RENTAL)
