I have booked at Pera orient hotel because it offers what I want from an hotel during my travels and the feedbacks were in its favor. Just after my booking was done I stumble on a negative review that was posted on trip advisor. I was worried about my choice. But when I went to Istanbul and stayed there, I felt compelled to share my own experience, which was entirely different and absolutely fantastic! I believe it's essential to give credit where credit is due. First of all , if you are seeking a resort , Pera Orient is not a resort and it never claims to be one! My stay at Pera Orient was comfortable and pleasant. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made their best to help me in every possible way and to answer my queries during my 5-day long stay. Their warm smiles and genuine willingness to assist truly set the tone for my stay. The location of the hotel is ideal. A 6 min walk from the hotel takes you to Taksim square where you can take the Metro or bus to reach your desired destination. And it allowed me to make regular daily walks on istikal street . The street is a little narrow yes, but there are plenty of hotels all around that I have never felt scared or unsafe ( as it was mentioned in the negative review). And I always took the upward direction then turn right towards taksim. I was greeted by a spotless clean room with a tasteful decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, The housekeeping staff was attentive and meticulous, making sure that my room was impeccably cleaned each day. Coffee and tea were left daily next to the kettle (sometimes with a bottle of water). When I will visit Istanbul again , I will definitely chose Pera Orient to stay in.

I came to İstanbul for work and stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks. The rooms are clean and pleasant, the food isn't very good but you don't get hungry. The hamburger's cake was a little strange, they used cake cheese for pizza was a little different room. There is no mayonnaise in the hotel. Ice machines are constantly disrupted. They sell alcohol in the lobby restaurant, but you can go out to drink in the lobby and drink in your room. Be careful while sitting down from the air-conditioning on the lobby restaurant's ceiling. They may have been up to date when they ordered the account and asked him to pay before the food came. 🤣 The only person in the hotel with a rosary is the receptionist, Ms Özlem. If you're just going to use the hotel to sleep, you can try, but I didn't think it deserved the price.

My friend and I were staying at Mount Ararat Hotel for three nights. We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. Even though we barely stayed in our room, the room had everything what we needed after a long day outdoors. The beds were very comfortable, the place was clean and so was the bathroom. There were a lot of restaurants nearby and during the evening the neighbourhood became very lively with locals and tourists. We were happy that after a tiring day we could grab some food and drinks with our hotel in the close proximity. On our last evening Saleh helped us arranging the transport to the airport which was top-notch! On the other hand, we had an arrangement with breakfast included and it was slightly disappointing. It was buffet with various choices of food and drinks but my friend and I are a little bit fussy. We preferred to grab something on our way to the city centre. It is not a deal breaker though. All in all, good value for money. We were satisfied about our choice and would definitely come back.

Class act for airport shuttle, this modest hotel ticks every box. First of all, kind thanks to Syrian neighbour Ahmed with his gift of languages to offer in as guide and translator. A quiet room in this tiny street too narrow to permit Vespa buzz and taxi honk was paramount. Closeby is the coach shuttle at €3.20 to Istanbul Airport...clock the luggage tag process and masked duty. Excellent. My room had an epic view of the city and so high up, traffic is undetectable. So clean, well fitted, safe and decent. I slept a needy 12hrs. Aircon and fridge are silent and linens were fine.

I made a reservation for Stay Inn Taksim Hostel via Agoda.com website for 3-6 February.Due to special reasons, I could not enter the hostel on February 3, and in this case, I contacted the hostel officer and informed him that he would check in on February 4.Despite this, my reservation was canceled by the hostel just because I did not log in and the hostel officer said that if I make a new reservation with a higher price, I will only be able to stay at the hostel that way. What kind of customer satisfaction is it that I can't use a service that I have paid for in advance and that a higher fee is demanded again? So I had to stay in another hotel.If you don’t want to happen this to you never choose Stay Inn Taksim Hostel and should definitely stay away! Agoda.com internet sitesi üzerinden Stay Inn Taksim Hostel adlı hostele 3-6 Şubat tarihleri için kredi kartı ile peşin ödeyerek rezervasyon yaptım. Özel sebeplerden dolayı 3 Şubatta hostele giriş yapamadım ve bu durumu hostel görevlisi ile görüşerek 4 Şubatta giriş yapacağımı ilettim ve görevli tarafından hostele giriş bilgileri tarafıma iletildi. Fakat buna rağmen 4 Şubatta hostele gittiğimde otele giriş yapmadığım için hostel tarafından rezervasyonumun iptal edildiğini, konaklama ücretinin iade edemeyeceklerini ve yeniden daha yüksek ücretle rezervasyon yapılırsa ancak o şekilde konaklayabileceğim söylendi. Ücretini peşin olarak ödediğim bir hizmetten ertesi gün geleceğimi bildirdiğim halde faydalanamayıp bir de üstüne tekrar daha yüksek ücret talep edilmesi nasıl bir müşteri memnuniyetidir? Şehir dışından geldiğim için de başka otelde konaklamak durumunda kaldım. Bir an önce konaklamadığım halde onayım alınmadan hostel tarafından tek taraflı olarak iptal edilen rezervasyon ücretinin iade edilmesini ve oluşan mağduriyetin giderilmesini istiyorum. Bir daha asla Stay Inn Taksim Hostel'i tercih etmem ve kesinlikle uzak durulmalı!

Hotel a little smaller than I had envisioned. It was a pleasant experience especially at the spa where I found a balinese working there. After a long flight a steam room, Turkish bath and an excellent massage is heavenly. Package promo at €55 is reasonable. Massage is 40 min. Add on massage will cost €30 for another 40 mins. I wish the spa offers Ayurvedic massage as well! Staffs are friendly although I found most people in turkey flaunting the rules on the masks and staying too close to the guests. It must be too hot for them and even at the mall I found them pulling down when they talked to customers!!! That’s going to be bad news in trying to control covid! Generally though, staff here still following the rules. Not so much the taxi drivers and other people outside! I only stayed 2 nights at this hotel. Took some photos at the roof top but considering its location and surrounding area (nothing much one can do other than walk around the river) it’s tough choice to stay on for more nights unless you are driving yourself. Nonetheless I had pleasant time here thanks to all stuff. A taxi ride to Istenya Park from here costs around 70TL.

Very close to Osmanbey (M2)! It’s easy to find! It's just that the road going downhill after exiting the MRT station is not easy to walk. The 24-hour service at the hotel counter is great. Because my flight was delayed and a wheel was broken when I picked up my luggage, I spent a long time at the airport and it was already past the check-in time. Fortunately, the receptionist still reserved the room! All in all, the hotel facilities are very new, the service is good, and the beds are very comfortable😌! Basic equipment is available. But no breakfast is provided!

An excellent hotel located in the heart of all the main attractions in Istanbul. The embankment with all directions of routes is 15 minutes away. Egyptian market, grand bazaar and much more. Cleaning and change of towels every day. The receptionist is all friendly. Breakfast is monotonous, but standard for Turkey. I recommend the hotel.

My stay was very comfortable and I am pleased that I got the exact accommodation service worth to the price I paid. Everytime when I went to İstanbul I am staying in this hotel since apart from the easily reachable with public transportation, hotel team members are very helpful to make your stay more enjoyable.
