I liked: location, very central, 10 min walk from Sultanahmet, 10 min walk from Eminonu port (where ferries leave for the Asian side and Galata), close to the Gulhane tram stop; breakfast, mainly savory (typical Turkish based on cheeses, cured meats, vegetables, sauces, scrambled and boiled eggs), but with a good choice of sweets (always present hazelnut cream, jam, peanut butter, corn flakes and choco balls, fruit , mini cakes, sometimes even a breakfast cake), different types of bread, cold milk, fruit juices and hot drinks. Don't expect a croissant with espresso, we are not in Italy, that's why there are many pastry shops scattered around Istanbul. But I can say that the breakfast is really worth it, in terms of abundance and quality; cleanliness, excellent, with daily towel change; staff, super friendly, kind and helpful (due to an unexpected road closure on May 1st, which prevented us from leaving the hotel for check-out, they helped us find a solution, they contacted my transfer to make arrangements and they found us a new hotel to spend the night); I didn't like it: actually nothing relevant for me, but maybe for someone else it might be. Soundproofing of the rooms non-existent, you could hear the shouts of other customers along the corridor, the noises of the bathroom in the next room (shower) and the tram passing right below. Other: very comfortable bed, small room but with all the essentials (functioning fridge, small desk with storage pouf, wardrobe, safe, coat rack and hangers, hairdryer, slippers, bathroom set, vanity kit), daily water refill. Very satisfied with having stayed in this hotel, I would do it again 1000 times and I would recommend it with my eyes closed!!
