Great accomodation, very close to most important Istanbul landmarks. Our room was cozy and extremely clean, very comfortable beds. The manager Mohamed was very welcoming, funny, ready to help in case of any needs. We appreciated his kindness and will to help us enjoy our stay. He gave us recommendations everyday about the best itineraries and places to visit. Our stay was great overall.

I didn't like the hotel very much, but it's fine for a few nights. Location among residential buildings of Laleli, dirty streets, very small rooms, pluses: price (relatively low), Yenikapi metro station is 10 minutes' walk away.

This hotel, which I had booked because it said it had free parking while traveling by rental car, was located in a quiet slum, so I was scared to go out. It was especially horrible when I thought about the dark evening hours. That was the reason why the accommodation was cheap. On top of that, the boss said there was no parking space today and asked me to pay 10 euros per day at a parking lot 200-300 meters away, which was unpleasant. In addition, he gave me a different room than the one I had booked, and a Pakistani employee insisted that it was a better room. I couldn't just ignore it, so I demanded a refund, citing the hotel's fault for parking problems and providing a different room than the one I had booked, and the boss said there was no problem and that he would refund me, so I searched for another hotel in the late afternoon. What was even more shocking was that the hotel didn't refund me, but instead processed it as a no-show, so I still haven't received a refund. These are really scammers who made my travel memories in Turku the worst.

Nice, fairly new hotel. Polite staff who try to help in every possible way👍 Comfortable room, comfortable mattress. The area is a little scary on the first day, but then you get used to it) The location to the historical center is very convenient, 10-15 minutes walk to the main attractions.

My mother and I stayed 5 days at Okda Hotel and everything was perfect. The room was very large and super clean and comfortable. The staff is amazing, sooo kind and friendly. They helped us with everything! The location is also great, you can go walking to all the main attractions in Istanbul - Gran Bazaar, New Mosque and Spice Bazaar (15 to 20 minutes), Blue Mosque and Constantinople Hippodrome (15 to 20 minutes), Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Archaeological Museum and Topkapi (20 to 25 minutes). We only needed to use transport to go to Galata Tower, Taksim, the airport or the Asian side (even so, you can walk to Galata Bridge (15 to 20 minutes) and take a public boat from there. Would definetely recommend this hotel and stay there again!!!!

Lovely local hotel with great staff who are very kind and welcoming. Although a small hotel, it is perfect for a short city stay in Istanbul. It’s Approx 20 mins walk from all the main attractions. The rooms are very clean with daily housekeeping. The breakfast is standard but a good variety of local Turkish dishes. Local restaurants are a lot cheaper than in the main tourist areas. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it for anyone looking for budget stay in Istanbul.

I'll write a detailed review with photos, in case anyone needs it. They will fine you for nothing!!! $20 for an old towel. 1. One of the advantages is the price. But for this price you get inconvenience. Below I will describe which ones. 2. Location - ok, if you know some features. After 18 Ti this place turns into a bunch of dirty dark streets filled with strange people. But it's safe. Nobody bothered me, although I walked along this back street every evening about 20 minutes from the metro or 30-40 minutes from the center. Lucky that no one bothered you! The muezzin is yelling right under the window. Someone is constantly knocking and repairing something. 3. THEY CHARGED A FINE of 20 bucks for an old towel on which I spilled tea from their stupid paper cup (there are no glass ones!!!) 4. The room is cold, the air conditioner is warm but noisy. There is no table. The chair too. There are no hooks for towels and a glass for brushes. I'll attach photos. 5. There is cleaning. But (!!!) I said - don’t come in and clean up! We came in and all my things turned out to be unclear how and unclear where!!!! Everyone touches you unless you ask!!! 6. Water. That's funny. Two plastic glasses of 100 grams. 7. Departure at 11.00 am. Seriously???? Funny... 8. Everyone smiles, everyone is kind, but as if you owe them. In short, there are better hotels for the same price.
