The owner is unfriendly. I made a mistake and made a reservation for one person, but when I said that two people would share the same room, they tried to trick me into paying double the price.

I visited 3 years ago with good memories, but the quality of service was poor and the lack of soundproofing made it a bit uncomfortable. I think staff service training is needed.

It was very good. Only one disappointing point is to arrive late. No one at the front desk.

시설이 전체적으로 낡았고 방까지 가는데 복잡하고 온천까지 가는데 바닥이 너무 미끄러웠습니다 식사도 그저 그렇네요… 저녁식사 때 술 무한리필만 좋아요

From Shuzenji Station, the last stop on the Izu Hakone Railway, take a bus bound for Shuzenji Onsen for about 10 minutes and get off at the "Shuzenji Onsen" bus stop. From there, walk along the river for about 10 minutes to reach the hotel. There is a parking lot for guests, but the road in front of the hotel is so narrow that two people cannot pass each other, so be careful when passing. The hotel building seems to have been renovated from a former hot spring inn, and guests take off their shoes at the entrance, put them in a shoe locker without a lock, change into slippers, and check in at the front desk. I tried to check in after 5pm in the evening, but there was only one front desk counter, so I had to wait about 15 minutes to be served. The building is divided into three parts: the front desk and lobby, the building with the restaurant, the building with the main rooms, and the building with the large public bath and open-air bath, and each part is connected by a corridor. There are two private open-air baths and one large public bath, and you need to reserve a time for the private open-air bath when you check in. Dinner is a half buffet, and breakfast is a buffet, so there isn't much variety in the food. The room I stayed in was a 10 tatami Japanese-style room, with futons laid out in advance, a view of the courtyard, and the toilet and other water facilities had been renovated and kept clean. There were some concerns, such as not being able to reserve a private bath, but the price of about 12,000 yen per person per room for one night with two meals was exceptionally cheap for the Shuzenji area, and the staff were very polite, so I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
