I chose this B&B because of the photos on Ctrip. It is indeed a very well-designed B&B with rich and exquisite space. The on-site experience is almost consistent with the imagination. The inn is right next to the intersection from Nanguzong Lane to Heihuijiang. The Lanshan double bed room has a long row of windows that can be opened, which is very comfortable if the weather is good/the temperature is suitable. The inn's breakfast, afternoon tea, and daily services are all online. Shaxi is really suitable for a short stay to relax and unwind, and I will consider coming back.

The review is a little late. The days in Shaxi were like a dream. When I woke up, I had to go back to my daily work. It is a very quiet and cozy B&B. There are beautiful scenery inside and outside the door. It is clean and hygienic. The breakfast is rich enough, and there is also a warm goodnight sweet soup. We contacted in advance after booking the hotel, and the housekeeper sent information about the hotel and the surrounding area. I chose milk tea for afternoon tea, Tremella soup in the evening, and Chinese breakfast was rice noodles. The room was very clean and well designed. Snacks and drinks were given, and there was a canvas bag to take away. The only small drawback was that the bath water had to be left for a while before it would heat up, and the water volume was not particularly large. The flaws did not outweigh the merits. Overall, it is still highly recommended in Shaxi Ancient Town.

The owner of the hotel is super enthusiastic and the service is very intimate! We received a message from the boss before check-in, confirmed our arrival time, and personally went to the parking lot to help us with our luggage~ Originally booked a sun room, the boss also helped us upgrade two double bed rooms for free! The spare parts in the room are quite complete, the hair dryer is huge and super love, and there are even two umbrellas to use, which can be seen from the boss's intentions. Just stayed after the Mid-Autumn Festival, the boss also prepared moon cakes! If you have time, you can sit in the yard and taste the tea made by the boss~ Maybe you can also pick up the life book that floats on your body (you can see the Canglan recipes and understand haha) Because of the cold in the morning and evening, I had a cough. The boss also took the fat sea to soak in hot water for me. I was almost moved to tears~ The attached breakfast is a coffee light restaurant just a few steps away from the homestay. The atmosphere is very good. The breakfast is also delicious. I like it~ There are also washing machines and laundry detergents in the homestay, and there is also a space for drying clothes, which is great ～ Surprise accommodation experience everywhere, thank you boss for the warmth! The advantage is that there is a yard and parking is convenient. Not far from the hotel is a food street, which is convenient for eating.

We spent a couple of nights prior to Christmas '21 at this incredible hotel. Designed, built and managed by the Lindens (same as from the Linden Centre in XiZhou, DaLi), this architecturally-stunning new hotel is tucked away in a pine forest opposite a beautiful Bai minority village. The spacious rooms are in separate rammed-earth villas and are beautifully decorated a modern, nordic style with amazing bathrooms and glass clad balconies to give stunning, serene views down the valley. In winter, the under-floor heating is soooo good! The staff (many from the local community) are kind, smiley and always happy to help. The hotel is in easy range of Shaxi Town by car (there's a new road opening soon which will cut the 35 mins driving time) as well as interesting hikes and local sites. We felt very lucky and privilege to have stayed in such an inspiring new hotel and we hope to be back soon.

I compared several hotels for the National Day trip, and I chose Shaxi Yundu Villa online. The whole style looks very comfortable and distinctive. It is also a historically protected old house. The price is also reasonable. There is no unreasonable price increase during the National Day. The boss and employees are very enthusiastic. They will help pick up and drop off when you arrive at Shaxi Ancient Town. The environment is really comfortable. You can drink tea and watch fish in the yard on the first floor, and watch the stars on the rooftop on the third floor. The prepared breakfast and afternoon tea are also very attentive and delicious. I stayed in Shaxi for 4 days and stayed in Yundu for 3 nights. The whole Shaxi Ancient Town gave us a very good feeling, and the folk customs were also very good. I rented an electric car to go in and out every day. It felt like my hometown. I will go back to play again if I have the opportunity in the future. I really like to take the initiative to share my travel and living experience.
