The initial courtyard room was not satisfactory as it was noisy. However, upon feedback, Ms Cai was proactive in quickly moving us to another room that was nice. Reception by the two ladies was friendly. Service by Ms Cai was especially warm. She also helped with my luggage after checkout and accompanied us to our car at Xitang’s gate. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located in a convenient and accessible location, just slightly away (a short walk) from the main thoroughfare so it was peaceful. We will not hesitate to stay here again :)

The room is nice, location is good. The only issues is not tourists friendly. As there no phone in the room. Hence if u are international tourist may face issues to get the reception and connecting to their wifi is horrible. As said no issues for rooms, location and service staff. Just that not tourists friendly where you bring elderly pax and no phone to connect with ppl in other room and wifi connection also and issues.

Very nice hotel... well located, inside the walls of the histroic water town, but in a quiet part, away from the hustle of the crowded streets. Room was clean and easily large enough.. with good lighting and private toilet/shower, and daily room service. The buffet breakfast, included in the room price was very good. I speak no mandarin; so I had to communicate with the reception/front desk staff using translate on phones. The front desk staff were wonderful... cheerful, helpful. They went to great lenghts to explain to me how to obtain and buis ticket to Shanghai, where to catch the bus and so on... also the same staff were extremely helpful with day to day questions. The only strange or negative thing is that when shown the room, it looks wonderful as it includes a small private verandah with table and chair. However, there is a fixed wire screen preventing the inhabitant from accessing the room's verandah... kind of strange and certainly a negative

This was such a beautiful hotel! Located inside the ancient town (about 1 min walk from the north gate), with stunning grounds and room. We also had a private balcony with a comfortable swing seat! Breakfast was delicious (Chinese style obviously) and all the staff were extremely accommodating. Would highly recommend this place and want to return again!

Beautiful traditional style hotel. Its massive. Room was nice and comfortable, good size and had a big balcony as well. Its In the xitang town so very easy to walk around the ancient town. Highly recommend it.

The room is large and comfortable. Everything is complete. The bathroom is well separated into wet and dry areas. The location is inside the scenic area. There are underground and above-ground garages, and parking is free. The breakfast is good and quite rich. The environment is elegant and quiet. It is very suitable for family travel!

The hotel is located in the scenic area. The store helped to buy tickets in advance, and it was very convenient to enter and exit by face recognition. Some small questions asked during the stay were solved quickly, and the experience was very good. The architectural style of the hotel is antique and lovely. A store that can be recommended to friends👍

Overall, it's pretty good. The hotel is very clean and quiet in a busy area. It feels like the largest one in Xitang. The courtyard is very large and the swing on the balcony is very popular with children. The waiters are also quite enthusiastic.

It was a very happy trip. I decided to stay in this hotel after careful selection. I was very happy. The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were very complete. The most beautiful garden design was combined with modern decorations to double the experience. I would like to especially thank the front desk lady for her enthusiastic service and introduction, especially a lady named Gong who was very cute and made the travelers have such a happy journey.

The courtyard is large and antique. The room with balcony is upgraded. When you open the balcony door in the morning, the plants come into view, fresh and quiet. The room is clean and there are a pile of books on the bedside, including Historical Records and Analects... There are many types of breakfast, which are also good. It is recommended to give a simple route map of the hotel's internal rooms for those who have just arrived at the hotel

Room: Booked a family room and brought my golden retriever. Thanks to the lady at the front desk for upgrading our room for free Service: It is said to be a Chinese cultural hotel in China, and there is no landline. So I arranged to contact the housekeeper via WeChat on my mobile phone. The service was very timely and good. Environment: There is a swimming pool, which will be open from July to August. The hotel is not particularly large, but it has a great atmosphere and is very pet-friendly. Thanks again!!!

The hotel is in a good location, and the night view of Xitang is also beautiful. Unfortunately, we encountered a typhoon and could not rush home to attend classes. Thank you for the hotel's delayed check-out so that the children can attend classes.
