10/10 would stay again. Note the food is a little over priced for what you get but it was still delicious.

super good location with scenic view!

We love this hotel so much. The breakfast is so yummy and the bed is very comfortable too. The hot spring is superb. The view is beautiful even if rainy weather.

great service, free shuttle bus from downtown to hotel, small rooms.

The hotel itself felt to be a little too rich and classy than what I’m normally used to (not a bad thing). I didn’t give the full 5 for location mainly since the hotel sits on top of a hill within the city, walking is kinda out of question unless your up for winding incline up and down the hill. There are included transportations though which is nice and the trade off being the gorgeous views of the city and volcano (sakurajima) that sits across the water. There are also included restaurants, stores, bath, lounges, and even a convenience store built into the hotel too which was nice.

My wife and I really loved the Onsen with a view of Sakurajima as published. Onsen cleanliness was good too. Buffet breakfast was so complete with both Japanese and western style. Free shuttle is quite frequent although still took some time to get to town nonetheless. But overall we loved our stay!

It was my first time traveling to Kagoshima. A friend recommended this hotel as it was very famous, so I booked this hotel. I feel that the overall environment, facilities and services are relatively good. It is a good choice to enjoy a hot spring bath. In addition, the buffet breakfast is relatively rich. If you eat early, you can see a good sunrise view☀️👍 It's just that the location is a bit remote, but there is a free shuttle bus between the hotel and the tourist area, which runs every 15 to 30 minutes on average, which is relatively acceptable😄
