It was very well located just next to the bus station. From there you can take a city bus or walk into town. Plenty of food around, or after s little walk. The hostel has two cats so it’s hard for allergics. The wooden vibe is really great, but the beds are ultra-hard so that brings the review down. They have one western style toilet and in general it’s a very clean place.

Super beautiful and well designed hotel with exceptional service. After coming back from the mountains we felt so well taken care of and could get some rest: we could wash our clothes, got super tasty snacks for free and the staff immediately attended any question or requests we had. The hotel is also perfectly located in Kanding. Super close to two main temples and only a 20 minute walk to the city center. The view from the room we had was also amazing. Highly highly recommend this hotel when visiting Kanding - and we hope to come back again! Thank you again!

We drove to Tibet and chose the Kangding City Hotel for our stopover – it was truly the right choice! The location is superb; it's just a short walk to Love Song Square, and right across from Liuliu City. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it incredibly convenient for dining and shopping. Parking is tight in Kangding's old town, but the hotel has an underground parking lot, and staff help move cars around, which was a huge relief for us driving ourselves. The room facilities are new and spotlessly clean, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the hot water pressure is excellent. The room is well soundproofed at night, ensuring a good night's sleep – perfect for resting and recovering after arriving at high altitude. The front desk staff were warm and friendly, check-in was efficient, and they patiently recommended local delicacies and tour routes. The breakfast offers a rich variety, including local specialties like yak butter tea. Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations and was excellent value for money. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kangding; I'll definitely stay here again next time!

The room I booked was full when I went there, so I got a free upgrade. The hotel environment is nice, the hygiene is very good, and it is very clean. The children said it was like home. The breakfast is rich, and there is no additional charge for the children. Free parking is convenient for travel. I will go there again next time

I was very satisfied with the room at this inn. First of all, the room was very well equipped, including comfortable beds, clean quilts and curtains, and effective air conditioning, which made me feel very comfortable during my stay. I usually don't write reviews, but this time I definitely have to give a five-star rating, 100 points, haha! And I'm not a shill! We arrived in Kangding yesterday with no traffic. I booked this place online. When we got to the hotel, a staff member showed me where to park. The interior environment is really nice. They said it just opened in June. The check-in environment is great, clean, and very cozy. When we left, I forgot my tablet and had to go back for it. The front desk had kept it safe and sound for me – very responsible! The front desk lady was also very polite and very cute. All in all, a great review. If I have the chance to come back here, I'll definitely choose your place again!

This hotel is located in Baitukan, the hillside neighbourhood above the urban centre of Kangding and a great option if you are looking for small boutique-type accommodation in a quieter part of town with good views. You do need a bit of stamina to hike down and especially up the hill but it is good exercise with lovely views and otherwise a short taxi drive from town. Very clean and comfortable with all the amenities for a great stay. The hotel is run by a friendly couple and customer service is good. I stayed here in the low season and breakfast was limited to a Chinese option.

This trip was a last-minute decision with friends. We chose this hotel because of its excellent location right in the city center, surrounded by plenty of food options. At night, we could enjoy the stunning view of the Zhedo River and the square where people were doing Guozhuang dance from our room's window. Although the room's decor wasn't brand new, it was impeccably clean, which didn't detract from our experience at all. However, it gets really cold in Kangding during winter! It even snowed on the night we arrived. So, for anyone planning to visit, definitely remember to pack warm clothes.

The hotel has a very central location, which makes it convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The decor is also quite interesting and gives the place a distinctive character. The rooms themselves were okay and generally functional. However, there was an extremely strong smoke smell in the room that made the stay very unpleasant. Unfortunately, this overshadowed the positive aspects of the hotel. Because of the heavy smoke odor, I would not choose to stay here again.
