We stayed there for 4 nights ( 1 pre tour and 3 post tour ) and were totally satisfied. Our room was clean and comfortable and a good size. All the staff were friendly and helpful and did their best to make our stay a memorable one. The restaurant staff were especially good. As they didn't serve foreign wines they allowed us to buy wine from the nearby supermarket and they put it in the fridge for us to drink with our evening meal. This was greatly appreciated. The food was excellent , especially the fish and chips which my wife had every evening. We were there on election day and as there was no transport available it was rather a long walk to the city centre. However that was not the hotels fault.

My name is Ajay Verma, I am a British born Indian Citizen from England, UK. We had a wonderful Stay once again thats twice in 10 months at Shanker Hotel, Kathmandu, we stayed in Nepal for 15 nights, Thank you very much to Mr Deepu Budhathoki for organising our stay, gracious hospitality and for hosting our trip for my marriage and previously my engagement last april may 2022.I MUST say, that the hospitality customer service from Mr Deepu along with the whole team from the porters all the way up to seniors was exceptional and second to None !!! without doubt!!!...Again to repeat and paraphrase, every member of staff were extremely efficient and tolerant and always respectful. They are an asset to the hotel, and I am Sure Mr Vinod and His son Mr Prajwol are very proud, who are the owners of this great establishment , who I met with several times in the lobby pool. side and during breakfast. In addiiton to this to this, credit to Housekeeping, Reception staff, night staff Mr Phabin Pun and Mr Sunit Shrstha and all security team. Finally the Business centre is great, as I had to work when I was there, plus they have great IT support namely Mr Milan,Travel team and Health Suite/Salon Further to this we were very Overwhelmed that Mr. Prajwol and his wife, gifted us a complimentary bottle of Champagne on my wedding day Subsequent to this, Housekeeping Manager,Mr Sajan Shrstha, decorated my room. thanks and regards to all, We felt we were at home from home, our stay was memorable and special, and the food was great Finally I deffinately recommend Hotel Shanker to any potential potential guests, kind regards, Ajay
Radisson Hotel Kathmandu

Radisson Blu Hotel Kathmandu is not the best and most recent five-star hotel in the area. However, its location is good, it is close to Kathmandu Durbar Square and the main commercial street; the management experience is mature and the service attitude is good; the facilities are slightly old, but it is neat and tidy; breakfast and lunch and dinner buffets should be quite rich in the local area. The hotel also has an executive building that offers high-level guest accommodation, meetings and banquets. Overall, the hotel caters to the needs of most tourists and business travellers.

The hotel is newly renovated and the bedding is new and clean. The front desk staff are very good, enthusiastic and thoughtful. Many of them have been trained in Sanya resort hotels and can speak some Mandarin. The restaurant on the first floor even helped us make instant noodles for free🍜 Recommended, will stay here again next time There is a SPA in the hotel, and guests can get 15% off. The technique is very good, but there are only three essential oils to choose from: lavender, ylang ylang and eucalyptus.

I stayed here for a week while attending a conference at the Radisson Hotel which is just across the road. I'm so glad that I made the choice to stay here rather than the conference venue. So many reasons why, including the following: 1) The staff are a standout. Every staff member I encountered greeted me with a warm smile and was eager to help. Stand outs were Dolma and Sarita but honestly everyone was wonderful 2) I felt safe and relaxed in the middle of busy Kathmandu. I ate most of my meals in the courtyard and enjoyed hearing the birds each day. I dind't expect my stay in Kathmandu to be so rejuvenating! 3) The food was incredible! The a la carte breakfast menu (including in the room cost) was extensive for such a small hotel and every I ate was delicious - my favourite was the chai masala granola. I ate dinner most nights at Piano Piano the inhouse restaurant and loved everything. It was unexpected to eat such good Itailan food in the middle of Nepal! I even brought my colleagues who were staying at the Radisson here for dinner one night as the food was so much better than where they were staying. 4) I stayed in a compact room that had everything I needed. 4 litres of bottled water was provided each day which was very helpful. 5) The location is close to things without being too busy. A walked to the Thamel area in about 20 minutes (just be careful crossing the road!). There are a number of small shops on the small stree next to the hotel so even if you don't have time to get to Thamel, you can shop for clothes and souvenirs nearby. I wish another trip to Nepal was on the horizon so that I could visit again. Thanks so much to all the staff.
