宿の外観は昭和の寂れた温泉旅館。中は今風にリノベーションされているが、部屋と浴場に行く際は急な階段があり足腰が弱い人にはキツイ。ダイニングでハーフバイキング形式の夕食、朝食は部屋食。アルコールやソフトドリンク、ちょっとしたツマミ類はオールインクルーシブなのでチェックアウトまで好きなくらい頂ける。温泉は青根の6つの源泉をブレンドしているらしい。内湯は大人５~６人、露天風呂は3〜4人入れば混雑しそうな感じ。ラウンジは21時には消灯されるのでその後は部屋に飲み物等を運びお籠り。宿泊客が少ない時は快適に過ごせる。
