Ambassadori Goderdzi Hotel

A wonderful, still young ski resort. If you decide to come to Georgia in winter for the purpose of skiing or snowboarding, Goderdzi is the place for you. The weather in Georgia is very unstable, in Tibilisi it can be -5, with no snow, and in Batumi + 5 and rain, but in Goderdzi there will definitely be a torrent of snow. The ski season in Goderdzi lasts for 4 months. The hotel is very cozy, wonderful clean rooms, with service +100 points. I would really like to mention housekeeping, the girls are professionals in their field, they do their work efficiently and as quickly as possible. We went out for breakfast, and after breakfast we returned to a clean and tidy room, and we didn’t even have to ask for it. As for the restaurant, the breakfasts are rich, there is a lot of choice for every taste. I would like to add more items to the restaurant menu. Also a nice bonus of the hotel is a sauna of 2 types (steam and dry), as well as a swimming pool, which helps you relax after skiing. For an additional fee you can visit the spa area with massage in the same hotel, which is good news. Lizhi and snowboard at affordable prices. The ski slope is wonderful, and the nice thing was that there are no queues, due to the fact that the resort is still young. The only downside is that the lift only operates until 4 pm. The ski slope is a few meters away and ski equipment can be rented directly from the hotel. Also a few meters from the hotel there is a restaurant-club, which will help you spend a great evening relaxation. I would also like to mention the hotel manager, a pleasant person and a professional in his field, who can quickly and conflict-free resolve any issues, and is always happy to help so that the guests are satisfied. The only problem with the resort is probably the road, but most likely these are not even the problems of the resort, but of Georgia. Although local residents say that the roads will be established very soon. If you decide to choose this resort, I would recommend this hotel. You will not regret it. But before the resort you need to carefully prepare. We had a little problem because we didn't take cash with us. Basically everything can be paid by card directly at this hotel, but cash can come in handy. In this village there are only 2-3 shops where payment is only in cash, and therefore there is not a large selection. Therefore, it is better to take everything you need in advance, before arriving at the resort. And of course there are no ATMs there. Also think carefully about the route and how to get there. The hotel provides transfer from any airport in Georgia, but it all depends on your budget, since transfer from the hotel is not the cheapest. If you decide to rent a car, then you shouldn’t even try to drive without a jeep or SUV, as there is a lot of snow and very bad roads. It is best to go from Batumi, the road is more or less adequate. You can also order a taxi on BOLT and get to Khulo, and from there transfer to a jeep; there are many locals who take you to this area. Or also check with the hotel before you go,
