The hotel looks a little dated and there’s a smell in the corridor. However, the room was super clean, toilet is big with a lot of counter space and so clean too!!! The bed was the best, super comfortable! Had such a good sleep. There is also a lot of space to open your luggage. Also love that it is floor rather than carpet. Makes it feel much cleaner. There’s a microwave in the room which makes it so convenient to heat up food. Location wise, it’s near a Supermarket and the area felt safe. Overall, a super comfortable stay, will definitely return!
Conveniently located near UW, ideal for activities mainly involving visiting the university. Close to student dormitories, the surrounding Udistrict is lively with plenty of restaurants, and it's also very close to the subway station – the location is fantastic!
Cleanliness was average. The room's soundproofing was a bit poor, but the bed was quite comfortable. The vanity was large, the room was spacious, and there was air conditioning. A complimentary beverage was provided upon check-in.
In short, if the price is right (the price increase during graduation season is outrageous), I highly recommend this place if you're going to UW. Personally, I think it's even more comfortable than the nearby Residence Inn.
I chose this hotel because of the good reviews. The building is old, but it's a charming hotel with many thoughtful touches. I rented a bicycle from them, which was very convenient. There are also Lime electric bikes available in the city, making Seattle's hills and distances much less daunting. However, flushing the toilet produced a very loud noise and a blast of air. The in-room TV connection was poor, so it didn't work. Maintenance came quickly and got the TV to turn on, but I couldn't change channels afterwards, possibly due to a faulty remote. It was frustrating, and I ended up not watching it at all. Perhaps because of this inconvenience, they didn't charge me the resort fee.
