3-Star Hotels in Kirishima

Tired, crowded with grubby carpets but a great buffet and sweet staff. Some renovation has clearly taken place in this building, for example the 3rd floor dining room and the lobby. But our bedroom bathroom was not clean and the fittings were clearly very old. I do understand that the acidity from the volcanic emissions attacks metal fittings but that doesn't explain the dirt in the corners and margins of carpets, the stains on the ceilings and the dirty coverings on fans and speakers so easily replaced. The staff however were absolutely lovely, especially on reception. The hotel was extremely busy with happy multigenerational families enjoying the onsen. The breakfast and dinner buffet was first class. A fabulous variety of fresh produce served in Japanese style with some Western choices too. Generous and it kept coming throughout both sittings. We tried a private bath, old, slimy and lagged in deposits. The public onsen was better. We took a bus up the hill to the Ebino Plateau and walked among the volcanoes, and enjoyed coffee and the fabulous eco-museum. Located in the center of the city, Yamagata Ya, major supermarket and local supermarket are within walking distance, and there are many restaurants around the hotel and it is convenient. Because it was used for consecutive nights, it was convenient because the clothes after the mountain climbing were washed and dryed in a free coin laundry. (Only detergent is sold separately) I rented a bicycle next to the front desk and moved to the nearby Hitoyama Onsen and soaked in the hot springs. Although this hotel has 3 floors, it is very rare as a business hotel and the rooms are provided on the 1 floor. Even more unusual was the indoor TV was a smart TV.

I stayed with my elderly father. I didn't think there were many staff, but they put my luggage in the room and it was helpful. The room was large enough with a twin bed and a Japanese-style room with more than 10 tatami mats with a board. Yuyuan is located in Kirishima and about a 10 minutes by taxi from Hayato Station. It takes about 15 minutes from the hotel to Kagoshima Airport by car. Guests may enjoy wearing traditional yukata robes, available in each guest room. Guests may borrow conveniences such as irons at no additional charge (please inquire at the front desk for details). The location a little bit far away to downtown. If you don’t drive yourselves, not recommend to stay. The facility and view is very good. Room is tidy and clean. Dinner and breakfast are nice. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Nice stay

Breakfast is very delicious. As others write, it is a great charm of this hotel. Home style breakfast full of handmade feeling. There are many items and I feel the gentle feeling of the staff. The charm of the hotel is still there. The staff is comfortable with a good sensitivity. Check-in is possible even at a late time of movement (car rental) on the final flight of the aircraft. Because of the friendly price, you can easily enter the local night before. The tavern near the hotel that I taught at the front desk is delicious and the price is reasonable. (after the final convenience) you can eat well even if you enter the store at a late time.
