Dormy Inn Kitami Reviews

The hotel is located with lots of great yakiniku places within minutes walking distance. There is sufficient parking at the hotel nearby areas too! There is a fabric spray in the room as well! The hotel as a sauna, onsen and some snacks available:) The room perhaps is a little small but for the price and convenience it is worth it.

Location is convenient with parking available within vicinity (paid). Centrally located with many restaurants nearby. Good place to stop by for a night on our road trip towards east Hokkaido.

The room is tidy, the hot spring is good, and there is free ramen late night snack, first class!

Very satisfied, the hot springs are great, and the midnight ramen is delicious hahaha

The room is too small. The twin bed type (18m2) is more suitable for one person. Most of the guests are business people. The breakfast does not have the rich seafood that other dormy inns have, so I don’t recommend this one.

The room facilities are all very old, and the door still requires a key, which is a bit inconvenient to take out to the street. In the toilet, the shower facilities are also relatively narrow, but the rest is okay. Breakfast is delicious! 

Domi is as good as ever, unsaid. Small but complete. There is a Chinese restaurant not far to the left of Kitami Dome's main entrance, which is very delicious. Kitami Yakiniku is famous, especially the roast beef, which is so delicious and the ingredients are extremely tender. You can eat it quite satisfactorily for 300 yuan. If I go to Kitami again, it will be to eat Kitami roast beef. Ha ha.

The location of the hotel is close to many functions. Many dining options are within walking distance. There is also a public bathhouse and hot spring on the second floor. Ice cream or a drink similar to Yakult is provided after soaking in the soup. From 21:30-23:00, each guest is provided with a bowl of ramen for half a person. It is a great treat to have a bowl after soaking in the soup.

Hmm... For some reason, men with tattoos came to the main bathhouse of the hotel and made a fuss and made a lot of noise, so I thought I stayed there for no reason... I understand that tattoos are originally prohibited in large bathhouses in Japan.

I stayed here without meals during a business trip. The hot springs were also very good. After taking a bath in the evening, I asked the front desk for a bath towel for the morning, and they gladly provided one. If I had to say something, it would be that the washing areas in the bathroom were full when I went to take a bath in the morning, so I had to wait a few minutes. There are only four washing areas in the bathroom, which is quite a small number.

The room is tidy, but the room size is relatively small. The large public bath is also very nice, and there is free late-night ramen from 21:30 to 23:00. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and the location is very convenient.

The hotel is located next to the BBQ Street. It is very convenient to get to the BBQ. However, the hotel rooms are smaller than similar dormy inns. The hot springs are also very small and there were many people staying that day.
