Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Evansville

Checking into the hotel was like usual, I reserved for two people but last minute had a change of plans where I brought my whole family. It was 2 adults and 4 kids one child is 6 months old the other is 4 years old then the other 2 were 9. During check in I told Pete Patel the general manager and he said it was ok due to their ages and no extra charge. The next morning the same person Pete Patel decided to yell and use profanity towards my two kids for going through the free brochures at the front. When I got involved I called corporate after a few words exchanged and during my phone call with corporate he decided to make two unauthorized charges on my credit card (credit card fraud) for $400 saying it was for the extra people. I've called corporate and Priceline about the issue they are going to resolve it and my bank is assisting them on getting my refund back. Bad thing for him he doesn't know what i do for a living but he will on the Monday I get back to work. He will be dealing with me a lot more on his status. And with creidt card fraud it won't look good.

Would’ve gave them a ZERO star if I could have. Wanted a refund immediately after seeing the room. Hot, Humid, nasty. Front desk was rude asf. They told me to contact Priceline for my refund since I booked through them. So I called and Priceline said they would have to call this terrible hotel for a refund confirmation and the manager denied it. So I kept Priceline on the phone with me and drove back to the hotel to confront the manager and he was hiding in the back from me and would not come out and talk about it. TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT TERRIBLE HOTEL. SOEND THE LITTLE EXTRA MONEY DOWN THE STREET AT DRURY INN OR ANYWHERE ELSE BC THIS PLACE IS AWFUL. I’m currently filing for fraud since in their policy it says they give refunds within 15-30 min of check in and we did just that. So just thought I’d let you know whoever is reading this, this is your sign to go somewhere else.
