Good location Very friendly

Location - 3 minutes from the pier where the boat from Pak Bara arrives. 5 minutes to walking street across the beach When choosing a room, I didn’t understand the difference between wooden and standard rooms, so I chose the first one. It turned out that it had a floor made of wooden boards with gaps between them. Theoretically, insects could get into the room through these cracks, but during the night I lived there, insects did not bother me. There is a kettle in the room (mine was faulty and did not turn off automatically), coffee and water are available at the reception at any time in unlimited quantities. Each room also has a special rug that you can take with you to the beach. Of the minuses: Very weak internet, and equally weak water pressure in the shower. There is no table and chair in the room, since I need to work on a laptop, it was not very convenient. I also didn’t have enough air conditioning, but it’s my fault that I chose a room without air conditioning

I recommend this budget hotel. Great for a good night's sleep, there is a quiet mode. Everything is nearby, convenient location.

It was very nice to have a hairdryer and safe in the room. But at night a mouse came into the room.

I booked for one night at the beginning, because it was troublesome to check out at sea the next day. The location was okay. After comparing the price, it was still cheap, so I stayed for two nights. The price was about 230, which was okay. After all, it was close to the beach and went to the pier. It’s just over 100 meters away from other hotels on the island. You can also try other hotels on the island. If you come alone and want to save money, you can stay here all the time. The location of the room is about 100 meters from the beach. The room is clean, has a water heater, inexpensive.

We spent a wonderful days in this place,friendly staff and the air conditioning room was so clean. They are part of the volunteer that feed the dogs in the island,we love these kind of people! Family Song is a low budget place but for us is the best resort to stay in Koh Lipe. Don’t miss to go fishing with them! We will back! Thank you again.

The room I booked was not available - the hotel agreed this, in writing, and, then refused a refund. The advertised room I paid for was concrete / high quality /AC but the available one was bamboo / had gaps in the walls / not AC/

The worst customer support ever. Told me to speak to agoda for booking help and said once a request has been sent it would be sorted. Then the request was sent and they rejected it and lied straight to my face. Then I called them up and the same voice then pretended to not know English. Horrible service would not recommend

We initially booked to stay in the bungalows for 2 nights but extended our stay as we loved the bungalows and Koh Lipe. The bungalow itself was spacious with en-suite bathroom with hot shower (which is not always the case in Thailand), kettle, hairdryer and safety deposit box. They are cleaned thoroughly every day. We borrowed beach mats from them too which was great. It is only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and Walking Street and lots of great restaurants and bars. We also booked a snorkelling boat trip with them which was amazing. The staff were really helpful, we organised laundry with them, hired snorkels and they also booked our ferry and gave us a lift to the departure point. They are not luxury bungalows but if you are travelling on a budget they are unbelievable value and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I had one of the best days fishing I've ever had, with 6 sailfish hookups, landing 3 of them. Great captain and a great boat, highly recommend. Very good communication and the boat picks you up on the beach directly opposite your resort! I will visit again for sure.

Me and two friends stayed at the bungalows at Family Song. The rooms are very nice and clean. The staff is amazing, allways smiling and helping with recommending different spots on the island, for snorkling, eating or anything you want. Christiano, the owner, an amazing Italian guy who lived on the Island for 10 years now. Takes care of a lot of dogs who are super nice walking around. He even made us Italian pasta one day. I even left a personal belonging in the bungalow and Christiano sent it in the mail. Even helped with a recipent to receive it in Bangkok. Would easy go back for a couple days to relax on the island. 10/10

We stayed in this place for 7 days and had a great time. We were in the new structure with large rooms with air conditioning, really excellent. Impeccable cleaning service. There were friends who stayed in the bungalows, even very nice ones. Excellent organization for all types of excursions both at sea and as transfers. Very kind and friendly. Well done. A ko lipe and feeling at home.
