Room was not clean and infested by bugs. After asking for new room I was treated to a sort of aristocratic theater where the manager at duty, acting as a messenger in a play, would run between me and the owner, who was having his dinner and was not to be disturbed! I could see the fella the entire time. Even waved at him, thinking it would jog in him considerations of efficiency and being a good host. No dice. This inspirational specimen of our species eventually yelled in my face, some confusing story about policy. I was told a change of room is impossible, as they where fully booked. A quick check on booking sites told a different story. Louis XV (sorry, that's how I referred to him internally while this soap went on) seemed to be lying to my face. Never again paying for this experience. Find yourself a place where management take their jobs seriously.

The hotel is very well placed between 2 enormous complexes, hence its charm and tranquility. We had a room with a small swimming pool shared with the next room upstairs with a superb sea view. The hotel is on the beach. The staff is very nice and super helpful

We were picked up from the ferry terminal without any problems, as soon as we arrived at the resort it’s absolutely beautiful and right on the beach! Easy checkin with friendly staff, we had beachfront villas which were spotless and clean and plenty space with gorgeous views of the sea! We decided to stay another night and this was no problem and made very easy to do ( can’t remember his name but was the one who picked us up and dropped us off at the port) was fantastic and sorted everything out for another nights stay! We are here in the evening right by the beach, food really good and lovely staff! Rooms cleaned daily! Would highly recommend and we will be back

Really good! The view on the beach is really good we have the beachfront room villa with big pool. The beach is nice the people is nice there are not that much tourists. The food is good. At the bar and restaurant you get as guests 10% discount there is a minimarket for like beers or sodas around the corner.

Never before that I have slept so close to the beach like this. Time seems to stop when we were staying at the Yao Yai Resort. We relaxed on the peaceful beach all day. Lazily, we ate. Food is really good, especially seafood. All staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are in reasonable prices, so are dishes. Strongly recommend. Not to be missed !

It’s a good location. But I would not stay here again. I could talk about abusive management threats and lack of service and poor description of rooms. I could mention old furniture. Outdated fixtures and so on. Or I could just point to the fact that there are other choices. I suggest you take those.

I booked the hotel with some friends and my partner. Booked a two bedroom room. One bathroom in the entire room and it was an en suite so if you were in bedroom A, you had to walk through bedroom B to get to it. Not only that, but the bathroom door wouldn't even close and was in full view of the toilet so none of us were comfortable. I asked staff if there was anything that could be done and not only did they laugh in my face but threatened to report me to emigration for simply bringing the issue up. I have no issues with my passport or visa so it is not a genuine concern they could have had, but simply a way to try and lord power over me and threaten me to shut the eff up. Cannot warn people enough - THIS IS NOT A SAFE PLACE TO STAY.

We booked a two bedroom boat villa. It is two bedrooms. And one is en-suite. So the second bedroom has to walk into the first bedroom to use the bathroom. And walk through the first bedroom to get in/out. It gets worse. The shared bathroom door is see through glass (can’t make this stuff up) and the door won’t close. I kid you not. I explained my issues to a staff member - who initially laughed and joked. And said that’s how it’s done here. He also said that if I looked at the photos I would see the room layout. So I did. And it didn’t show the layout. I pointed this out - and he said - that’s what the owner told him to say. This place is a hell hole. The restaurant service sucks also. And the food is mediocre at best. And the main courses arrived 20 minutes before the rice. And one of the dishes we ordered never came. And the windows don’t lock. Stay somewhere else. This is a nasty cheap worn down place that charges as if it’s a 4 star. It’s a one star. At best.
