Property is located at south end of White Sand Beach area, a bit far from sandy beach (aprox 15-20min walk) They've got few simply good size bungalows equpied with a fridge and tv, some of those have also ac. Unfortunately is a bit difficulty to deal with the staff, I made reservation by Agoda for room with ac for 400B per night, and had pay that by card. When I decided to stay few days longer and pay this time directly by cash, lady at the reception desk told me that price now is 500B. After short negotiations she agread for same price, it means for 400B, however when next morning I came to pay the bill she said she changed her mind and price again went up for 500B! After all I decided to move to Koh Chang Hut Hotel which gave me price 400B without any negotiations and offered much higher standard.

Good location and a very very friendly owner! However the weather was very hot and I was literally not able to sleep in a Fan room. I ended up booking another resort around since the resort was full.. so never slept in this resort. It’s a cute little cottage but if you are picturing a real cottage made with wood, which allows air circulation inside, this is not that. So please book for a room with AC!

This place is very quiet, but only a few minutes walk from the beach. I slept in another bungalow complex on the beach for a few nights but was constantly awoken in the night by the howling of dogs. At Tree House I sleep through the night without being disturbed. I absolutely love my room. In one side, the wall is almost fully taken up with a large patio sliding door, so it is bright and has a great view over the salt water lagoon outside. This is budget accommodation, but whoever designed it has taste. The bathroom is very nice. There is a large sliding wardrobe with plenty of room to hang your shirts and store things. This is something you don't usually get in rooms of this price. The staff are friendly, though they speak very little English. This hasn't been a problem, we have just used Google translate when necessary. The cafe / restaurant area is really nicely done. It has that lovely mix of man-made and wild that a good Chinese style garden has. The food is good and slightly cheaper than on the beach. Very few people staying here, so really suitable for those who want somewhere peaceful. They have a good capsule coffee maker so u can get your fix for a mere 50 baht. I'm paying 800 baht (900 if I stay less than a week) per night for an AC room with a beautiful view, which is a good deal for a nice room close to the beach in this area in high season. I would highly recommend this place for those who want something charming, quiet and unique in the budget price bracket.
