We have just spent a wonderful 5 days here and it was a blissfully peaceful and tranquil stay. At first we were a little unsure about how remote and cut off it seemed but within a very short time, we had completely forgotten about the outside world. Shantaa resort had everything you could need for a truly relaxing stay. The villas are super comfortable, spotlessly clean and set in lovely gardens which roll down to the sea. The bathroom is an outdoor room which has its own pretty little tropical garden feature. Everything is tastefully furnished, the beds are very comfortable and everything is kept lovely and clean. The outside terrace has beanbag sofas which are great for lounging on. The pool area is great, nice beds and plenty of towels and bottled water available. The restaurant serves an à la carte breakfast which was really lovely. A lot of thought and effort goes into how the food and drink is made and presented. There is an extensive dinner menu and all the meals we took were of an excellent standard and really very inexpensive. The cafe, which has a lovely setting by the sea, serves lunches and drinks throughout the day and everything we ordered was super fresh and of a very high standard. All in all, a wonderful stay, we felt we had been on a health retreat!

It’s an excellent hotel and better value for money than others on the island. Breakfast is great, beach is average and the pontoon ruins it a bit. Staff could definitely smile more but this is a common thing of Koh Kood

An absolutely gem! This place is super private. The way it's designed allows you to be free from your busy city life and within hours of arrival, you will feel relaxed as the air, sea breeze and the friendly staff make you feel like royalty. The restaurant boasts a great selection of authentic Thai cuisine.

Very nice staying at this wonderful resort near by the amazing beach. Good breakfast, nice and clean rooms (with great smell and outdoor interesting shower), beautiful garden and great swimming pool. They have a cafe right on the beach. Very convenient that you can rent scooter at the hotel. Staff can help you to arrange the way back to Bangkok.

Everything is excellent.This hotel is the best in my Thailand life.

I was impressed by the clean private room and the elaborate meals (the breakfast was amazing!). The staff are fluent in English and Thai, so communication was not a problem. The staff also frequently looked after the guests, so I was satisfied with my stay. I gave it a low score because the location is 30 minutes by car from the pier. However, transportation can be arranged by contacting the resort. As this is a resort where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, there are no work desks or TVs. I recommend that you relax here.

The room layout is very good, clean and tidy, the service staff is very friendly and patient, the breakfast menu is worth praising, on the first day, I had some difficulty in Thai and English, so on the second day, a matching Chinese menu was provided; the swimming pool is also good, the hotel park environment is great, suitable for vacation, daze, and relaxation

Stayed for 4 days. The room was very clean. I really liked its courtyard and the platform in front of the room. It was very relaxing to sit and do nothing to watch the sea and feel the sea breeze. The room was well maintained and the facilities felt very new. The hotel is located at a higher position, and the view of the sea and the sunset is beautiful. The hotel faces the sea and walks 100 meters to the left across the pier to the beach. The sand is very clean and the sea water is clear. It is quite convenient to go to the beach. Breakfast is ordered, juice, fruit sandwiches... It is really delicious. Sometimes we also have dinner in the restaurant. The taste is very good 👍 The service is professional and thoughtful. By the way, there are several cats in the hotel. They are very friendly. They will rub you casually and accompany you to watch the sunset... In short, I like the sand tower very much and it is a very satisfactory stay.

After staying for four days, the restaurant should be considered the best in terms of environment and taste on the island. The front desk of the hotel can help register some activities. It’s fun to rent a motorcycle at the front desk and go out for a spin. The hotel's own seaside is full of rocks and no beach, only a small area near the pier. This is the second time I have been to Kudao. The first time was ten years ago. Although commercialization is still very low now, it is much more convenient than it was ten years ago. There were too many mosquitoes and I had to pack a lot of bags, so I went to Koh Chang to stay for four days and packed a lot more bags. .

The room is small and beautiful, very close to the sea, the toilet and shower are outdoor, very special, I like it (but there may be geckos or other creatures visiting) The air conditioning is powerful, the whole resort is fresh, has a sense of design, and is well maintained. The hotel beach is average, but it is close to nearby beaches. The restaurant has a very Thai flavor, and if you can get used to it, you will find it very delicious.

Food and service are good

The hotel has its own garden which is very beautiful. The service details are perfect. The hygiene is perfect. I dropped something in the corner and the floor under the curtains was spotless. I was impressed. The restaurant food is delicious and reasonably priced. The swimming pool is not too comfortable. Very satisfied.
