Fun vibe but very noisy at night. Great for party lovers, not ideal for light sleepers. Nice place, but way too loud at night. Not recommended if you need rest.

Location is good. Decently clean. Before you make the booking, be prepared not be able to sleep till 2AM because of the loud sound and vibration from next door club. If you are party animal then maybe it's a plus for you. In addiion, the sound proof is very poor between rooms so you know what it means when it comes to that .

Awful location…impossible to park… lots of drunk people…contact number does not respond on the calls

Lovely modern hotel/hostel Great to make friends very social place to stay and food was very nice Don’t stay here if you want to get some sleep, it’s right next door to a nightclub so music is loud till 3am most nights My room didn’t have a window or balcony so felt very boxed in

Rooms were great, with good amenities. Hotel is fun and in the centre of Samui. Walking distance to everything you would need and easy to get grabs / taxis. Hotel staff are super friendly. Great fun location to stay at .

My stay at Socialtel was great! I booked last minute and was happily surprised by the rooms and lounge area. However, there weren’t many people so the vibes were a bit low… but still fun!

Rooms are tiny, ideal for solo travellers. No bidet in toilet despite this being Thailand. TV (youtube) kept crashing every 5 minutes making the watching experience terrible. The hotel wasn’t happening which was the main reason we booked despite having better options.

I stayed at SocialTel for a few nights and absolutely loved the vibe! The location is super convenient - right in the heart of Koh Samui. The staff were friendly and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist. The rooms are clean, stylish, and perfect for backpackers or solo travelers. I also loved the social atmosphere - it's really easy to meet people here thanks to the events and parties hosted by the hotel. If you're looking for a place that combines comfort, fun, and community, SocialTel is definitely a great choice!

The room was spotless and super modern for the price we paid, we thought we would be staying in a scruffy party hostel style room but it was better than some of the more pricier hotel rooms we stayed in the area! Smart TV was a nice touch when we wanted some chill time. We were glad that the hotel wasn't the party hostel vibe we were preparing for but the bar and social areas really weren't even low end social. Nobody else seemed to be there when we went down to use the bar and the 'activities' never really seemed to manifest so don't expect to make friends here. The rooms are very sound proof but its also the noisiest part of Chaweng so be prepared to try and sleep through the constant base noise from noon to 6am, it didn't bother us though.

It’s so beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. I enjoyed my stay, made new friends and had fun. The rooms get cleaned everyday and this place is close to everything or everywhere I wanted to go
