The location very convenient, central to many restaurants , shops. The rooms are basic, but not small, have a tiny terrace, nets on the windows.

Wasn’t really impressed by The Hive. A bit outdated and lot of noise from the walking street. However: I always find it difficult to write or read a review, since others might not know what ones benchmark is. Friendly staff. Breakfast so so and as said before a bit outdated.

I always stay at the hive, its a great hotel with great staff and facilities, its central to everything you could need Would highly recommend

Good pool!

The hotel is 3 stars, the breakfasts are very modest. The location is excellent, there are shops and restaurants nearby. The pool is small, overlooking the sea. Green area.

We stayed at this hotel in June 2024. The hotel is wonderful! Upon check-in, you will be offered cold, moist flavored oshibori and a glass of juice as a welcome drink. The hotel has both rooms in 2 and 3 storey buildings, as well as separate bungalows. The hotel area is very green. Everywhere is clean! The room is cleaned daily, towels are changed daily. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Breakfast is served at the beach restaurant from 8:00 to 11:00. How nice it is to drink a cup of morning coffee with crispy toast while enjoying the seascape! ❤️! 3-4 types of fruit, 3-4 types of pastries, toast, croissants, vegetables, rice, curry, eggs - 4 types, bacon, sausages, nuggets, 3 types of juice, water with lemon, lime and mint. Tea (3 types), coffee (coffee machine). Nearby is a swimming pool, sun loungers and the sea!!! Shower by the pool. The sea is wonderful, clean. You don't have to walk long to swim. Cafes, restaurants, massage parlors - everything is nearby! I will definitely come back here again! I recommend! I think that the hotel is worthy of 4* in terms of the level of service provided!

Pros: central location in Lamai, close to the sea. Very green beautiful area. There are enough sun loungers. There are plenty of beach towels, from 8.00 until late in the evening. Breakfast is good, 2 coffee machines with different coffees. The tea is delicious. Fruits every day: watermelon, pineapple, dragon fruit, papaya, mango. There is enough food: a variety of hot dishes, yoghurts, jams, croissants, omelettes, fried eggs, sausages, salads you create yourself. There is enough furniture in the room. Hangers 10 pcs. Safe. Autonomous air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle, TV. Always hot water. Very nice balcony, birds are singing in the morning, a squirrel came running. Cleaning is a five, they clean very well. They give 4 bottles of water (this is the first generous hotel). We went to apple food for dinner - it was close and delicious. Transfer to the airport costs 600 baht, we took it opposite the exit from a travel agency for 500. Cons: very noisy in buildings 7 and 6. The doors open onto a street leading to the beach and a coffee shop is open until 4 am, with very loud music. For some reason, the furniture in the room is different; the solid wood furniture is old, shabby, but of very good quality. There are also cabinets made of a different material, so it’s uncomfortable. No trash bags in the room. Many thanks to the staff for the meeting: a wet towel and juice, plus karma, they gave me a knife for the entire time of use. I recommend the hotel, but 2, 3 buildings or bungalows.

This is my favorite hotel and I stay at it every year. The view of the pool and beach from the restaurant is amazing! Eating breakfast while looking at that wonderful view. I love it and the time passes slowly during my stay... There are many convenience stores and restaurants near the hotel. If you walk a little further, you will find a market where locals go and a large supermarket where you can buy souvenirs. You won't have any problems! This time I traveled alone, but I usually come with my family. This is the perfect hotel for a relaxing time where you can do nothing like we do and just relax while looking at the ocean. I think I'll be coming here every year from now on...

The hotel is located on the first line from the sea, no, it’s not like that, the hotel is on the zero line, the pool is panoramic, that is, you leave the pool and you are already in the sea and vice versa. The hotel is simply surrounded by greenery, even in the hottest weather, everything is in the shade. The area is constantly cleared of fallen leaves, the rooms were cleaned daily and most importantly, efficiently. The breakfasts were the same, but we always filled up with coffee, tea, four types of juices, in general the breakfasts were not very bad. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The hotel has bike rentals. We also ordered a transfer to Krabi at the hotel, everything was organized with 5+ ratings.

Excellent hotel, located right on the seashore. Very clean rooms and great breakfasts. This place has a great beach and clean sea, I recommend! And we would definitely come back again!

"Tired" and very dark, even damp rooms. If it weren't for the high cost, it would be fine, but the hotel clearly overestimated its services - you can find better ones nearby. In addition, the rooms are small and the air conditioner traditionally blows directly onto the bed) The common area and the pool are beautiful, but the rooms are disappointing The beach in this place is good, but very crowded.

Nice hotel by the sea. Breakfast is standard, but the choice of dishes is larger than in some 4*. The pool is clean, but not big. Large territory. There is parking.

We vacationed in July. About the hotel - very green, clean area. The rooms are spacious, linen is always clean, cleaning is done every day. Excellent location of the hotel (close to shops, restaurants and everything a tourist needs). First line, in the best location of Lamai beach. The entry into the water is smooth, the depth begins after 3 meters. Your own sunbeds and towels. In my opinion, the breakfasts are excellent, there is everything you need, everything is fresh and delicious! Special thanks to the staff for their responsiveness (for example, the air conditioner broke down, we went to the reception, a repairman came immediately, identified the problem, the next day the air conditioner was replaced) and smiles (for example, they always say hello and smile)!!!)) I definitely recommend this hotel for a holiday in Lamai!!!

Overall everything is good. Normal breakfast. Clean rooms, daily cleaning. The only thing that was annoying was the old system of access to the rooms (only one key, there is no way to get an additional key card, like in other hotels), very problematic when, for example, one person sleeps in the room, and the second cannot get there. A good place for the beach, the ebb and flow of the tides are not particularly felt, there is no “knee-deep” water, as in some other places, it’s just a little closer or further to the buoys, but the depth is immediately good. A convenient, stress-free system for obtaining beach towels; towels are always freely available on the beach for collection or replacement. Convenient location, quiet place, not on a noisy street, but a little deeper, but a little out and there are many cafes, restaurants and other services nearby. Nearby there is a 7-11 store (food, drinks, etc.). The hotel has its own parking lot, not on the roadway; we parked a rented car there. Overall I liked everything.
