This place is lovely. Very quiet, very calm, is literally right on the beach where you can watch the sunset every day. You can walk up the beach to a few bars and restaurants. The pool is clean. The lady that seems to run this place on her own is just lovely and very friendly. HOWEVER..... It's quite run down and very no frills. When we were there, they didn't have their own food or bar. If you wanted food, you needed to order in advance and all they did was get a takeaway from a local place and add a fee on top. If you wanted drinks you had to go to the shop. Breakfast again is at an extra cost, has to be ordered the day before and is just a takeaway from the place 5 minutes down the road. The BBQ they say they have for you to use, is a tiny mini thing that you have to buy everything for. The bicycles they say they have for you to use for free are mainly broken, tyres punctured, side stand stuck down, chain slips etc. They do have kayaks though, that are free, and they were good fun in the calm, warm Thai waters. One 500ml bottle of water was replaced once every 2 days in the room. The TV didn't work. The sockets sparked. There is basically nothing nearby. You HAVE to have a moped or car to go and do anything. But again, it was a lovely quiet, peaceful, picturesque and welcoming stay in a very basic place. There were shy lizards everywhere. There is an unlimited supply of towels for the beach or pool. The staff are so incredibly lovely,

#Room Features# Each room has its own beautiful front and back yard, the room is big enough to echo! #公空间# #酒店服务# This is the most cost-effective hotel I have ever stayed in! Very distinctive! A peaceful and beautiful paradise! Everyone is gentle, kind and courteous. The hotel has only ten rooms, but the yard is very large and the swimming pool is amazing! The beach restaurant is great! The waitress is beautiful and warm. The dishes are very delicious! Come to these hotels in Koh Samui, this beach hotel is the best! The price is also very cheap! #WiFi# Each room has its own separate WiFi, the internet speed is very fast! #Breakfast#simple and delicious #设计style# The gardens on the beach are really beautiful, I can’t bear to go, I have to visit Samui again for this hotel

Oh dear, oh dear oh dear! The owners did not use the Covid close down as an opportunity to update, improve maintain or even tidy this hotel. Everywhere you looked it appears shabby. Beach Bungalow at a vastly overpriced cost. Dimly lit TV did not work Fixed Safe did not work 'Fixed' then didn't work again Door would not lock 'Fixed' but took a strong hand to lock or open Musky, un-aired smell 'garden' overgrown and tatty Dirty, old and shabby sun loungers. No caretaking of the beach area, other hotels along the beach had teams clearing the debris on their patch each morning. Set breakfast poor with comedy floppy toast. Moody and unhelpful reception. I had emailed the hotel directly a couple weeks before hand to ask about the possibility of a cake for my wife's birthday, never heard back from them which is not unusual for small Thai hotels. However, on the morning we were going to check out early due a cake appeared with several of the staff to sing 'Happy Birthday'. Nice save! My wife persuaded me to stay. Upon check-out got a hefty bill for the cake! Would not recommend at all.

We stayed at Lipa Bay Resort for 8 nights. Our room was on the third floor (which is accessible by stairs only) with a nice view of the ocean. We liked our room - it was big, comfortable, nice bathroom and deck. We found it quiet at night time and the air con worked great. The only thing we didn’t like was that we found the bed a bit too hard. The location was great. It is located right in the middle of Lipa Bay and the beach is beautiful. There is a lovely pool at this hotel, but only 7 lounge chairs. If you didn’t get a lounge chair by breakfast time they’d be pretty much unavailable for the rest of the day. To the south along the beach and road are some good restaurants. We particularly liked Kaew Thai and Mom’s Kitchen. Good food! The hotel has a restaurant where we had breakfast every morning and had lunch there on one occasion. The breakfast menu is somewhat limited - choice of hot drink, choice of cold drink and one entree - eggs, cereal, pancake or Thai dishes, and white toast. The hotel had scooters and bicycles available to rent. We rented scooters and enjoyed exploring the island. Our favourite spot was Taling Ngam Beach and the Island View Restaurant which is right on that beach. Great food! Idyllic beach perfect for swimming! It was about a 20 minute scooter ride from our hotel. Overall, this was a very nice, clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff who were very helpful. We would stay there again.
