Great place, amazing holidays. My family holidays this year were superb. I spent a week in July with friends and family and we had great time. The food is great and I loved the entertainment team. I did some yoga with my daughter and I had great time in the pool.

We have recently returned from 2 weeks at the Agean Bay. It was a last minute booking at a reduced price and a chance to catch some late summer sunshine. The transfer from Tui was not good, being the 7th drop off and meaning we arrived at the hotel at around 8.45pm. However we were greeted on the hotel steps and swiftly given our wristbands. We were advised to leave our cases in Reception and go straight to the dining room for dinner as it closed at 9.00pm and then check in later. This was a very kind gesture and much appreciated. This initial friendliness was echoed throughout the hotel with each member of staff we met. The service, buildings and grounds were very reminiscent of the old style family run apartments and tavernas of the 1980's and 1990's, a little rough around the edges and not the modern hotel with a new feel and polished waiter service more common these days. The all inclusive package includes red, white and rose wine though not sparkling from a self service dispenser in the restaurant and bar at lunchtimes. Beer is also via self service in the restaurant. There is also a fizzy drinks dispenser though the quality of drinks was poor. We had a large bottle of water on arrival and after refills were available from the bars with no problem at all. There was a decent, albeit basic, selection of food at breakfast lunch and dinner. We had some lovely typical Greek dishes. The meats and salads were authentic Greek which is sometimes missing from more expensive hotels. We spent our time by the veranda pool which was very quiet and suited us down to the ground though we would have preferred the music to be quieter. The pool opened at 10.00am and closed at 6.00pm. Fresh fruit is available after 11.00am. You are charged for pool towels at quite a high rate so bring your own. We had a drink on the veranda after dinner and again it was very quiet due to the time of year. There was entertainment most evenings at around 9.30pm. We booked this holiday at short notice at a reduced price and we got exactly what we were expecting. It was a lovely break with a relaxed friendly vibe. We would visit again at this price but certainly not at the price Tui are advertising for next year.

The staff on reception were very welcoming & helpful. We did enjoy the food but there could have been a bit more of variety. The drinks were okay but you do have to pay for certain drinks, they are not all included in the all inclusive package. The beach was a 5 minute walk and was lovely to have a walk down there in the evening with the sunset 🌞☺️ Rooms were basic but you could tell they were trying to improve things. Wouldn't go back only because we like to visit different counties & hotels. Nice & cheap for a week away in the sun 🌞 If you want to go to a shop I would suggest not the one across the road. If you come out of the hotel and take a left follow the road down and you will see a shop to your right , it's seems to be cheaper & bigger with more to choose from.

Arrived early hours of the morning with a very warm welcome by the hotel staff and was shown to our room. We soon realised it was not the room we had booked but was so exhausted we decided to wait until morning to raise our concerns. After breakfast the following morning we went and spoke with the TUI rep Maria, we were then relocated to our selected room. We didn't have the room cleaned on a daily basis but I think this may have been some teething issues. The reception staff and management were amazing, so welcoming and very friendly. The food was great, with plenty of choice. There was a Greek night on the Wednesday with lots of Ouzo. Entertainment team were great and lots going on around the poolside. Two pools at the hotel to chose from. Also inside the lobby area of the hotel there was a pool table and other games. The hotel is in a great location with a short walk to Marmari beach. where a visit to Biggs Restaurant & Beach side bar is a must! This was the hotels first summer with TUI and although we had a great time some improvements could be made. This is not a negative towards the hotel or those working there and we would most definitely visit and stay there again!

Thank you Aegean Bay! Been back almost two weeks so I've had time to evaluate and reflect on our 10 nights there. Check in was fine and was taken to our room immediately, although it was way before check in time by a gentleman which was great. The room was spotless and kept that way by our cleaner all holiday. The room was nicely refurbished with everything which is needed. The mattresses are to die for, I am sure missing those back home. Everyday we spent by the pool, which was spotless, beds were readily available. The service at the bar and restaurant was brilliant during the day and night time with the fact we were constantly served with a smile! We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel during our whole stay. The food was amazing if you prefer the healthy Mediterranean cuisine, loads of variety/choice & the salads and salad bar were exceptional. I have a passion for pastry cooking and I must say the dessert tasted like homemade, TOP-NOTCH! Will definitely be coming back

I stayed at the hotel in September with my partner for a week. The hotel grounds are an ideal place to relax but also a great starting point for visiting the island. The food was fantastic, really enjoyed the Greek cuisine. Always had something to eat. The waiters and bar staff were extremely friendly. A special shout out to the girl with the glasses, she always found time to have a chat and was extremely polite. The all inclusive program was as advertised and had everything expected The room was pleasant and had everything we need. The cleaning service was always great. We will definitely be back!

I visited the Aegan Bay Hotel twice this year. Once in late May and early June, together with my family. Now, at the beginning of autumn, I was here alone. It is a hotel with two pools, two bars and a restaurant. There is a garden leading up to the individual buildings, which as you can see is developing. From the terrace at the Verada bar there is a nice view of the pool and the mountains. I have also been to Kos before, in a hotel much larger than the Aegan, but I liked the Aeagn Bay in Marmari better. This hotel stands out for its friendly atmosphere, communicative and helpful staff. Very good cuisine, many of the dishes are the same that we can find in Greek restaurants. Everything is savoury and there is a large choice for a small hotel. Animation for guests at a good level. The four stars of this hotel are fully deserved. Close to the bus stop and car rental. Nearby car rental and tourist office with service in Polish. I have no problem with English, but in my opinion it is worth mentioning for the comfort of the stay. Nearby beach with sun loungers several bars and hotels larger and smaller. Opposite the hotel there is a shop. From the beach there is a view of the islands of Kalymnos Plati and Pserimos. The hotel lends itself to relaxation but the activities offered by Remarc Entertainment do not allow you to get completely "lazy". If I ever visit Marmari again, I will choose this hotel.
