I will start at the beginning, we arrived very late to the hotel about half midnight, we were welcomed by the night staff who took our passports and details quickly and showed us to our rooms. He explained that breakfast was from half seven till ten. When we got in our room there was a sandwich and a refreshing drink for us, a hand written welcome note from the manager of the hotel. In the morning we went down for breakfast there is plenty to choose from, from a cooked breakfast, plenty of fruit and cakes, they will make smoothies and coffee and there is the continental breakfast with fresh meats and cheese and salad and tea is constantly being offered, and if you require something else you can ask the staff they will try to accommodate you, very morning I asked for porridge specially made for me because I need lactose free milk, I only ordered once and very morning it was made for me, a nice touch. The staff are working so hard to keep everyone happy and enjoying their holiday, so please be polite and respectful, some are working more than one job, and long hours. In your room there is everything you need coffee machine which is lovely, tea and instant coffee, bottles of water are put in your room twice a day, there is a fridge and safe deposit box for you to use. In the shower there is shampoo and conditioner, body soap and moisturising lotion so no need to bring your own, I used theirs for the whole holiday very nice to use, and a hairdryer. Towels for the bathroom are changed very day and you have beach towels too, if you need clean ones take your beach towels to the reception and they will give you clean ones. The pool is very clean and very cold, but remember that there is a second pool in the spa you can use for free which is heated, the sauna and steam room are charge able, but the pool is very pleasant I would recommend you use it, the spa treatments are good I had a back massage and scalp treatment, the service was excellent. There are plenty of sun beds are they don’t like you putting your towels out and leaving them, but you don’t need to we don’t have any problems getting a sun bed. If you like the beach it’s right in front of the hotel with waiter service at a press of a button on you sun umbrella, again water is given to you down there too. By the pool you have a bar, cocktails are nice about €14 each so is the wine €9 a glass. The service is god someone is there all day. Each day there is a free shot or ice cream from the staff. The restaurant in the evening is a bit more expensive then if you go into Kos, which is about a 40 minute walk make sure you have comfortable shoes on, my blisters are sore, we have been here for ten days and have walked every night, definitely walk up and appetite and you will get your steps in for the day. The town of Kos is nice if you want a sea view dinner go to the harbour turn left and follow the road round all the restaurants offer sea side tables, in the old town plenty of restaurants to choose f

This is a beautiful hotel and the infinity pool is stunning! However unless you are willing to wake up and trek down to pool before 8am you will struggle to get a sun bed. Regardless of the beauty of this hotel I found the majority of the staff extremely unhelpful and rude. They clearly had no interest in their job and I found for a 5 star hotel I was constantly having to ask for stuff that was missing. We were all inclusive and during breakfast/lunch/dinner I found we were regularly left waiting for service of drinks and a lot of time we went without. Likewise with cutlery often the tables were set but if not I had to go looking for staff for cutlery etc. I found the bar staff in the main bar to have a horrible attitude with one rolling their eyes when we ordered drinks (after leaving us waiting for 15 minutes until I put my hand up to get his attention, regardless of making eye contact with me multiple times before this). There was one late evening when we arrived back at the hotel when there were multiple bar staff standing looking at our table without service so my partner went to order drinks at the bar. While he was there he witnessed one member of staff hand the tip jar to the bar man who proceeded to place it in front of a customer who appeared to be by himself and very intoxicated. The bar man told the man that he needed to start tipping. This is disgraceful carry on from a 5 star hotel and it was upsetting to see how the staff blatantly took advantage of the state of intoxication. I also found the young lady who handed the tip jar to the bar staff in this incident to be unfriendly while she was serving at the beach bar, as if we were an annoyance. We are quite generous with tips but I found that the staff who’s service was so poorly were the same members expecting. Among other instances of rudeness there was one particular incident that occurred at the pool restaurant where a male member reacted to me asking for a plate. This member of staff rose his voice and very aggressively informed me that the plates were there and pointed to the small plates. I calmly informed him that I wanted a large plate where he shouted at me to be more specific. I couldn’t believe how he had spoken to me as I could never imagine speaking to another person let alone a paying customer like so. I turned to my partner who was also in shock at how I had been spoken to. The staff member came back out with plates and continued to very angrily inform me that the next time I ask for something that I should be more specific about the plate. He kept going until the point where I simply found myself apologising to him and saying nothing else as I was embarrassed by his completely out of pocket reaction to a very polite request for a plate. Following this incident I got so upset that I began to cry at the table as I couldn’t believe how I had just been treated. (again it is a 5 star hotel I feel as though nothing was ever at hand plates, cutlery, drinks etc. yet staff ha

We are having a Wonderful honeymoon at Blue Domes. Exceeded our expectations. Everyone is so helpful. The food is fantastic, the a la cartes are amazing. The lunch bars dotted around the resort are unbelievable! Lovely pots of melon and fresh fruits, salads and anything you fancy, packaged to take with you. Freshly prepared burgers, including vegan burgers with the best home made fries you ever tasted! The gyros at the beach are just fantastic! And the beach bar serves lovely cocktails. There’s also a sweet shack for ice cream and crepes all day long and also an ice cream stop by the beach bar. Everything you could wish for! Haven’t even mentioned our beautiful room, complete with nespresso machine and wine, beer and cans in the mini bar daily or as and when you need a top up. Just wonderful. We love it here!

The price was very good for the apartment which had 2 bedrooms a kitchenette with fridge and kettle but no cooking facilities which suited us very well . cereal and fruit is all we needed for breakfast and then eat out for evening meal. A bathroom with shower. Towels changes every couple of days. Maid service every day emptying bins and tidying bed. which were changed twice during our 10 day stay. No Tv available and no seating area or lounge just the 2 bedrooms. We had a big balcony with sun from morning till night which was wonderful although not private as you could see all the other guests on theirs.Good English breakfast available which we enjoyed. Snacks throughout the day. Only 5 minutes walk down to the beach where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. It was fairly quiet coming to the end of the season but open everywhere. Staff at Origin very friendly especially Tigga who, worth her weight in gold,. was amazing always there to greet and have a chat. Everywhere was clean. The pool was appreciated and sunbeds always available, cold yes but i loved it. Aircon on was an extra cost but we didn't use it. It's on a main road so can be quite noisy if balcony doors are kept open. Payment for safe was not refunded it was a one off payment . Masks were only necessary when going into shops but staff had to wear them most of the time. Hand sanitizer available everywhere and encouraged. Felt very safe re Coronavirus precautions and preparations. All in all Origin is a fun place to stay great location great price so would probably return there again if returning to Kardamena.

I went to the kouros palace with no expectations due to very mixed reviews however I had the best seven days of my life , I will start with the room which was very clean , comfortable and ample in size , it included a balcony with 3 chairs , table and drying facility , my room had a double (2 singles together) and a sofa , lots of storage and the bathroom again was very clean and offered a bath with shower , large sink and obviously a toilet , the hotel grounds are absolutely huge and included a gym , very large beautiful pool , a smaller but still ample pool plus kiddies pool , also a pool bar . There is a huge dining hall with lots and lots of food choices , I tried most of the foods and actually enjoyed all of them . There is a large bar with entertainment every night , I must say that I didn't look forward to some of the advertised entertainment but somehow the staff seemed to make it work and I enjoyed it all , the whole place is beautiful and maintained to a high standard . Just across the road from the main hotel is a convenience store which is well stocked and pricing is good . Walk down past the store you will find a 5 a side football pitch and a tennis court with basketball rings . Keep going and you will reach the beach bar/cafe and then the private beach with multiple loungers . What made the holiday even Morecambe amazing was how friendly the staff are and how well the place is run . The location of the the hotel is virtually in the middle of the length of kos island so ideal for trips to any part of the island , I would truly give the whole place a 10/10 and wouldn't think twice about going back there .

Wow! The facilities are endless! Great options for kids and adults in facilities and food. My only comment is that I was not told in the check in process that I need to order the shuttle for the check out date in advance, that caused us a lot of uncertainty and stress on our last day in the hotel. Nonetheless I recommend thia resort and will definitely return!!!!

TTrek30652586608A fantastic place and a very warm welcome from all the staff. Wonderful people, the hotel is spotless and the housekeeping is perfect. We’re very seasoned travellers and have been very impressed with everything about the Anastasia. It’s not a 5 star hotel, but all the staff are. A 2 week vacation and we have no complaints or issues with the hotel, the staff, and facilities. Highly recommend The Anastasia, it does cater for all ages, so if you want a SAGA holiday, I’d recommend a SAGA holiday.

Just returned from a 2 week stay in the Aegean house apartments. I travelled with my partner and my 15 year old daughter. The room we were allocated was exactly what we requested , which was a 1st floor apartment with a pool view. The room was very nice and clean. However, my only suggestions would be it can do with a little up dating with extra electric points and maybe a bit more storage for your clothes. The staff were very friendly and always made you feel welcome. The bar staff in the day and night were fantastic and always very chatty. Bar prices were very reasonable and the food a decent price and as always nice food. Be aware that people did reserve their sun beds in the morning with a towel. Therefore, you had no choice but to do the same if you wanted a sun bed for the day. Aegean houses are a good ten minute walk to the beach. My only complaint which has nothing to do with the hotel is that there is a massive cycle lane along the main walk way, with little space for pedestrians to walk in a save place. You were constantly beeped out by the cyclist to make way for them as they drove by. Lovely relaxing holiday

Have just got back from a fab 2 week stay at this hotel . Take the negative reviews with a pinch of salt as we cannot fault this hotel at all. The food was amazing , so much choice, tasty, hot and changed regularly . There is hand gel everywhere for those that wish to use it . The hotel was spotlessly clean and smelt amazing . The staff work very hard all day and evening and nothing is too much trouble. Drinks were good, again a good choice of Cocktails and no more than 3 people in front of you at any time . No rush for loungers in the morning either , first holiday we could get a lie in ! Regularly had breakfast at 9 am and plenty of loungers dotted around the areas. The Italian and Greek restaurants on site don’t get enough of a mention, food at both of these was delicious but you have to book them once you arrive . We were so happy here we actually cancelled a different hotel we had booked for June next year and are coming back here instead and bringing the family . The entertainment team are great, really get everyone going and are lovely people . We went to Kos twice, day and night, and Zia by Sunset , and the 3 island boat trip, all great value for money and there is a bus stop right outside with regular buses into the local town. Great hotel, can’t wait to go back

We had the most wonderful 10 night stay at the Kos Divine Hotel & Suites. The hotel is in a great location with everything you’d need nearby. An on site shop, restaurant serving incredible food and drink, rooftop bar, pharmacy across the road, private beach with free sunbeds, evening entertainment, car/bike rental across the road and scooters normally available outside. We paid a small additional extra to have a sea facing room, and on the first floor, which was perfect. Only slight annoyance was the noise within the building at night (we were in the separate building across from the pool), not sure if this was people being inconsiderate, or very heavy doors but we often heard loud banging which disrupted our sleep, and meant we had to buy earplugs. We hired a buggy from over the road of the hotel for 2 days and explored the whole island of Kos. We also used the Hopp scooters which meant we could get to the old town within about 5 minutes, however if you’d prefer to walk, this takes about 15 minutes along the seafront with lots of bars/restaraunts on route. If we ever return to Kos, we’d definitely return to this hotel, thanks for a fab stay and for being so accommodating!

We stayed for 4 nights at the Grand Blue. It was the first stop on the coach transfer only being approx a 10/15 min journey. Hotel staff were lovely, super helpful and welcoming. The entertainment was great, highly recommend ‘The Legends’. Rooms were huge with great facilities, I didn’t pay for a sea view room but we got one and the view was gorgeous. Only downfall was the food - like massively. The selection was always really random and mostly just chips, pasta and random bits of meat. I heard other guests complaining about the food too. If you are vegetarian / pescatarian you will literally be living off chips and salad, maybe some fish. We were all inclusive but i wouldn’t recommend it. The drink selection was rubbish and the cocktails all tasted the same - watered down sugar. The bar snacks weren’t great either - just thick doughy pastries with bits of meat or spinach inside but, again, if you are veggie they aren’t labelled and the staff didn’t seem to know what was inside them themselves. I would highly recommend the hotel itself for the location, but rooms and staff. But save yourself the money and go room only / b&b if they have the option because there are plenty of restaurants and bars a 10 min walk down the beach in Kardamena. Worth noting the beds were rock solid too and our room didnt get cleaned one day out of the 4.

GGuest UserFamily of 4 - 2 Adults and 2 Children aged 12 and 14. Close distance to all amenities in Kos Town. Rooms were quite spacious and spotlessly clean. Our cleaner was the best; we didn't have to wash up once! Clean bedding and towels daily, floors moped inside and out on the balcony. Nice pool area, always got sun beds. Great staff, especially Dimitris, the bar staff who worked from 5pm to 1am most days. Met some wonderful people who were holidaying the same time as us which made our stay even more fun. We loved Kos and enjoyed visiting Zia to watch the sunset and also enjoyed a ferry ride to a neighbouring island called Kalymnos. We hired a car for the day for only 45 euros when we visited Kalymnos at the port on arrival and enjoyed visiting the small island. Definitely worth a visit if you can explore the island. Overall, we had a fabulous stay. Only downside was we had to pay for air con which was unexpected at 8 euros per day. This wasn't made clear to us by our agent, On The Beach. We have raised a query with them and hopefully will get this refunded back. There was the usual cost for hiring a safe which we expected at a cost of 15 euros for our 10 day stay. A great little hotel for the price. Would highly recommend.

DDutemplarAwesome last minute trip. Great and friendly staff. With it being the very end of season, a few minor things were less than perfect but quite understandable for a late October holiday. The buffet was overall good, varied, and unlike some other places I saw recently - routinely changed out the hot food to keep things fresh. Excellent price point, and would be happy to go back.

DDynamicDuo381Things we like ✅ ●Location is great! 20 minute walk from the harbour, right opposite the marina, close to Old Town and 5 minutes if that to paradise beach. ●Fabulous breakfast. Lots to choose from. During our stay (1 week), this diminished every day. By the last day, it was very poor. No coffee, no juice, lacking in bread, eggs and jams. Condiments were often empty. When asked why and for more, the male older member of staff just said 'it is cheap, it is finished'. ●Free air con. However, room gets VERY warm as there is no window. Guess this is why air con is included. ●Acceptable for a short stay. Things we don't like ❌ ●Cleaning is poor. 4 squashed and dead mosquitos on the bathroom wall when we arrived. ●Balcony very dirty. Covered in soot from the cars below. Never cleaned. I used a towel to clean this and it was filthy. Images attached. ●Room is VERY warm as there is no window. Thank goodness though for free air con! ●Very uncomfortable mattress. No bed Protectors and it isn't a proper mattress so a weeks stay was a challenge! ●Being watched and followed when taking breakfast items. Staff ate horrendous. ●THE rudest staff members ever. So called managers never smile, never greet you and go out of their way to be nasty. Never greeted, never smiled. Never said good morning. Followed us around during breakfast. Grunting, miserable and incredibly unhelpful. ●No toiletries. Not even hand soap. ●No new loo roll given to us during our stay. Had to ask and when asked, the complained about staff member was very rude indeed. ●Towels small and meagre. ●Bathroom drain did not function properly so the floor was always drenched for hours after a shower. ●Pressure and temperature hit and miss. ●Got a blanket as was cold during the stay, on our penultimate night, the cleaner came in, didn't clean the room but took away the blanket!? ●Downstairs toilets often without loo roll and very dirty. Like a forgotten space! Sink full of sand and dirt. ●Fridge turns off when card no in slot and when you are out so everything gets warm, the room gets VERY warm and it takes a while for the fridge to power up and get cold again. Suggestions ●Read the reviews! The most recent ones are VERY poor. ●Train/hire new staff. ●Renovate the bathroom. ●CLEAN! ●Hire an English speaking member of staff. A friendly one ideally. I have made a formal complaint to *********** about the male 'manager' here and cleaning issues.

We went as a couple for a vacation to several Greek islands, at the island of Kos we chose the Philippion hotel to stay for two nights and thankfully it was only two nights. I would like to mention that, before we made the reservations, we looked at different websites for various opinions about the hotel and that is why at the time of booking we asked for our accommodation to be in the renewed space of the Philippion hotel. I was answered that it would be dependent on the availability at the time of my reservation. Firstly, we had some difficulty finding the establishment because the hotel's facade did not correspond at all to the images that had been provided to us through the website where we made the reservation. When we found the hotel, we saw that it is not as ”modern” as the images provided by its management appear. When we arrived at the room we were schoked because it had nothing to do with what we were expecting. The room was dirty, it was small and the bathroom was disgraceful. Secondly, this is a hotel that does not focus on resting its guests, as the cleaning staff at 8:50 am were knocking on the door to come and ”clean” the room, yes, I put cleaning in quotes because they just made the beds. The bath towels were not even changed. We usually leave the towels that are to be changed in a corner of the room floor so that the staff can distinguish them more easily. In this case, the employees took the used and dirty towels and put them back on the bed. The price we paid for our stay was not cheap, which is why I was so outraged by this experience. Finally, we were led to think that this hotel had a swimming pool, which is completely false. When we asked about the pool, they told us that it was a mistake on the part of travel agencies and that they are tired of saying that they don't have a pool, which doesn't really add up because we made reservations individually and even here on Tripadvisor they say that this establishment has a pool. . Without a doubt, we do not recommend nor will we return to this hotel whose real name we do not even know, it was a horrible experience.
