Amazing time!! Mattresses were thick, AC was cold, everything was clean - not to mention the array of activities, in-house bar, and lovely staff! (huge shoutout to James!). Highly recommend for those wanting to meet new people and/or book pre-organised activities around the area. The hostel even had a gym and free brekkie and yoga each day. Overall 11/10.

I have stayed in hundreds of varying accommodations over the years and at least 10 during this trip to Bali and Thailand. This was by far the best deal financially and the best service. My room was cleaned daily. I was comfortable with a doona, aircon, a good sized bed, fluffy pillows and toiletries were provided. My needs were met and the family that runs the place is kind and approachable. It is is in the heart of everything but the noise is minimal. Highly recommend

I honestly cannot rate this guesthouse highly enough. It only has 6 rooms, so a laidback and quiet vibe, and it is very clear the owner and his girlfriend genuinely care about both their guests and the upkeep of the hotel. Absolutely spotlessly clean, not literally not even one piece of dust in our room. Some people complained about traffic noise in other reviews, but we were on the top floor and facing the back of the building so didn't notice any noise whatsoever. Loved the balcony and the view, and *strong* AC which is getting crucial in Krabi right now as temperatures rise. Central location.....5 mins walk to downtown, markets, 7-11s, ferry port etc. As far as ”bang for your buck”, this has to be one of the best value guesthouses around. I have already booked another couple of nights later this month. Highly recommended.

We LOVED our stay at Chan Cha Lay! Our room was very clean and the decor beautiful. The bed and linens were even comfier than the 5 star hotel we stayed at the precious night, and the fluffy clean towels were luxurious after a steamy HOT HOT shower! The room was very quiet. The people across from us were listening to music and having a bit of a fiesta when we went to bed but couldn't hear them at all once we were in our room. The WiFi was good, the aircon and fan were a little noisy (nothing a blanket over the ear couldn't fix) and the breakfast downstairs was basic but pretty good. The staff were lovely, helpful and all smiles. Don't let the 2.5 stars fool you, this place is gorgeous!

i stayed at No 7 Guest House Whitby for 2 nights , Richard and Joanne offer a warm, friendly Guest House ,they were both helpful and nothing seemed to much trouble ,my room was comfortable, clean and cosy just what I needed for my stay . My breakfast arrived promptly and was superb, I would definitely like to go back to No. 7 if I visited Whitby again as this friendly Guest House is in just the right location for Whitby Town and also the beach front and not too far from the Abbey ruins which I hope to visit next time … Thanks

It’s a good transition to live. It’s close to the night market. Within ten minutes of walking, I bought a lot of things from the night market and went back to the hotel to eat at night. It was great. It's also close to the biggest market there. Although it's not too much, there are boots and everything. There is an unknown supermarket on the first floor, where I bought the cheapest bottle of bird's nest water in Thailand. I haven't seen it in Bangkok, Phuket, or Chiang Mai since then. I regret not buying a few more bottles. This hotel is also convenient for pick-up and drop-off.
