Chanapha Residence

If you are heading to Krabi, I would urge you to stay at Chanapha! The other reviews are completely accurate, this is a special place, and delivers service far above it's price range. Some highlights: The food is truly delicious, it has all the flavour of homemade, but is presented like restaurant food, and is good value. We are both vegetarians, and Khun Deng made a real effort to adapt the food for us. The property is so peaceful, far away from the craziness of Ao Nang, but close enough to everything so you're not isolated. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are immaculate and have all you could need. Khun Deng and George are such wonderful hosts- friendly, thoughtful, great company! Due to Covid cancellations, we actually had the resort all to ourselves, but this made us feel like we were being welcomed into their home, and we were looked after so well. They helped us with laundry, helped us find a very reasonable taxi back to Phuket (the driver was excellent), gave us great tips on places to visit in the area and George even gave us a lift to Ao Nang pier when we needed to go. The only tiny point to note was our driver had a tough time finding the place on Google maps, if you travel from Ao Nang it's well signposted, but just be aware that you may need your driver to ask locals for directions (if you get stuck, just say 'Ding Daeng Doi' or 'international school'- these are landmarks nearby). If we were ever back in the area we would certainly stay again, I can't recommend it enough.

From the moment we arrived at the gates we knew we had booked the right place. This is a quality residence run and owned by quality people. The rooms and communal areas are impeccably clean. The stunning garden views from the balcony are what can only be described as tropical. The rooms are large and airy, the bed so comfy and quality linen. The food is top notch with a range of dishes to suit every taste. Locals use it too which is testament to its quality. George and Dang are the best hosts and only want you to enjoy your stay and do their utmost to ensure that, offering advise on where to go and what to visit. Even offering mopeds to their guests. We moved on to Koh Lanta and so disapointed with the accommodation after staying in such luxury at Chanapha. Thank you George, Dang and staff for making our stay in Krabi the best. We just wish we could have stayed longer.

So incredibly wonderful that I would like to keep it a secret but also give more stars. We felt like the most welcome guests. The accommodation and surroundings are beautiful. The owners are so friendly. I would love to visit again. Best hotel we have stayed in in Thailand. Thank you to the owners and staff for their kindness and hospitality. Ps. Food was also 5 stars!

We have just returned from spending 6 nights at Chanapha Residence and what an amazing peaceful place surrounded by nature giving us time to really chill out and relax, I think we found heaven! A= The hosts George and Daeng couldn't have done anymore to make our holiday absolutely perfect, they really did go above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble it felt like a home from home. They gave us great advice on where to go and George often took us to some of the best parts of Krabi, even offering us a ride there, we really can't thank them both enough.We definitely would love to return to their little pieces of paradise The bungalow with pool view was immaculate even better than the pictures, tons of space and spotlessly clean with a great breakfast selection included in the price. The food was outstanding and very reasonably priced. The whole staff team worked tirelessly to make sure our stay was just perfect If you get the chance it's definitely worth every penny and the family vibe that George Daeng and the staff provide really a piece of perfection There aren't really the words to describe it as it’s about how this place makes you feel Thanks again Chanapha Residence will always have a special place in our hearts ♥️

If you visit Krabi and want to get away from the crowds I highly recommend this special little hotel in the countryside. The owners go out of their way to make you feel at home and offer useful tips. Spacious bedrooms and balconies. The hotel and gardens are kept exceptionally clean. The food is delicious - so much so that we are at the hotel all the time! Highly recommend
