Deevana Plaza Krabi Aonang

Very nice hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast buffet included each morning. This was a good selection of food. Sometimes there were queues and it was difficult with empty selections but staff were quick to replenish. We ate in the hotel one night and the food was very nice and very reasonably priced compared to local restaurants. The room with easy pool access was great. All in all would recommend the hotel and will be returning.

Had this on offer for 3 nights at S$95. It’s low season and the hotel was pretty quiet (saw only 3-4 other guests and almost nobody at the swimming pool most of the time. Good thing is the service is fast and excellent. My room was at the highest level and at the junction of the main road. It was of a decent size, clean but some things needed fixing during the off season. The balcony door could not be locked and one of the curtains was damaged but still managed to fully close. Someone next door could have climbed over but being just beside the main road would have discouraged that. The toilet paper holder was damaged but still somehow held on to dear life. The tap/faucet kept falling off, which is a huge annoyance. Hot water wasn’t hot enough. In fact it was barely warm which meant that I didn’t turn on the cold water at all to shower! The bathroom had a sliding door which kept opening if not locked, and that hid the wardrobe and safe box which I struggled to find after checking in. There wasn’t any lights in the wardrobe. Air conditioning was noisy even at the lowest setting. My room was at the junction of the main road which meant there was a bit of noise but it didn’t bother me much. The great feature was the small pool. It’s clean and regularly maintained. I saw people check the water condition during my stay. From my side of the hotel, it is only accessible by stairs. The hotel also provides a basket with a beach mat and 2 towels, which is a lovely gesture. I’m unsure how they get returned and cleaned though as there are no instructions and also no towels or towel baskets at the pool. Overall, the stay tolerable with no show stoppers. If they can fix the above issues then the stay would be perfect!

Premier room. The price and quality correspond. The beds are very wide. It is difficult to adjust the air conditioner so that it does not blow on the bed. The room is huge. Mini kitchen. The equipment is of course so-so. Does not match the photo. Instead of a corner sofa - a simple wooden futon. And two chairs. There is no dining table as in the photo. There is no chair near the mirror. You can hear the neighboring room. Voices were not heard, but the muttering TV is clearly. There is no elevator. They did not help with luggage. Breakfast is 250 baht per person, children also for money. Not worth it. At the end of the building, where the reception is located, there is an Indian cafe. Prices are above average, if compared with the north and Pattaya.

I’ve been to this hotel before, it is a short distance to the beach and the centre close to all shops and restaurants. The rooms great with private balcony and huge beds and it is nice and quiet at night as tucked off the Main Street. It is good value for the price
The Scene Cliff View Villas

Stayed here as 4 adults, for 6 nights in a 2 bed room. Bedrooms are quite small but lots of storage space and nice to have a lounge/kitchen area. Biggest drawback is only having one bathroom between 4. Lovely breakfast selection (and if you are going out early they will do a breakfast box of sandwich, fruit, pastry and juice.). Free water supplied every day. We enjoyed our stay here as it’s a small hotel - only about 20 rooms. We felt it would benefit from being adults only as it was mainly adults on arrival but our last couple of days there were a lot of families and as the pool area is quite small it did get noisy. For this reason I wouldn’t recommend the pool access rooms as they are VERY close to the pool. About a 30 minute walk to the beach front and 10 mins to some nice restaurants (which are cheaper than along the front). It’s a great location as you are away from the hustle and bustle but near enough to walk if that’s what you want. There’s also a shuttle bus at set times. Don’t recommend using the hotel for booking taxis as they are very expensive. They did advertise free bicycles on their website but they only had 2 and both had flat tyres. All in all a good hotel, in a great location with lovely staff.

We had previously booked this hotel for a 2020 visit before Covid ruined those plans, so we were looking forward to our eagerly awaited holiday in Thailand. We had decided to travel during the Songkran (Thai new year) festivities, which were unbelievable. So much fun! Our 13 year old daughter (can I say daughter nowadays!!!) had the best time of her life shooting water everywhere. The Thai people, always smiling, are simply amazing. Now, ok, this is a hotel review. We had booked a pool access room by the fantasy pool (the one with the slides). Simply, unless you like people clambering over YOUR small terrace, taking photos while stood on YOUR terrace, jumping in the pool from YOUR terrace, trying to get to their room next door across YOUR terrace, don’t waste your money. It was disgusting, utterly intrusive and bloody ignorant. There are no barriers (and there should be) between the rooms/terraces to prevent this. A joke! We had two sun loungers on the terrace (which people climbed over too) but they were in the shade all the time. Rooms 127 to 131 get no sun at this time of year, so again if you’re a sun worshipper don’t waste your money. The wifi is abysmal. It says somewhere in the room, don’t wait to get home to complain about something, ask the staff! We complained about the wifi almost every day until we gave up. They advertise (incorrectly) that there’s wifi available in all areas. A total lie! The only place you were guaranteed wifi was in the reception area. Or the Green Pepper restaurant across the road!!! I had to pay for 5G everyday to do some work for my business back home!!! And then I get charged for having my room an extra hour on checkout! So much for customer service. A recent reviewer said the breakfast was amazing. No, adequate is the word you’re looking for. It didn’t matter what time you visited, it was packed out, nowhere to sit, no cutlery, no plates, no cups, no food. Everyday we had to ask staff for this, that and the other to be replenished. There was just not enough staff. Apart from 5 behind reception!! On a plus, the room itself was fairly nice with a comfy bed. It could do with more drawer space and more hangers in the wardrobe. Oh and the plug didn’t work in the bathroom sink. On a plus plus, the bar staff at the fantasy pool bar were awesome. A special massive thank you to Soe who was brilliant. One final note, please Ananta Burin Manager/owner, please don’t reply to this review patronising me. This review is a true and honest review. There needs to be changes at this hotel before we ever return. Sorry Soe.
