Hotel Europejski

Krakow|0.09km from krokuva
A good sized and well located hotel, it’s just a short stroll from the main train station and a few minutes’ walk to the old town. Décor wise it feels quite dated, both in the reception area and the rooms, but everything was clean, tidy and in full working order. The room was just about an adequate size, we had requested a twin which came with one double bed and one single, and there was little or no room to the side of each bed with one being up against the wall and one against the windows. Two singles would have worked a little better perhaps. There was also a small sofa and a small round table. The beds were very comfy and our room was facing on to the internal courtyard so no noise from outside at all, although being adjacent to the lift we did get a bit of noise from that, but nothing too intrusive. The temperature in both the room and the rest of the hotel was far too warm, quite hot in fact. There was an air conditioning unit in the room, but using energy to both heat the room and then cool it seems ridiculous. The shower was on the small side, but hot and powerful. Other facilities included tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary bottles of water, TV and a safe. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet affair, with the only hot options being a frankfurter style sausage and scrambled egg. There was a good cold spread though, with meats, cheeses, tomato & mozzarella, hard boiled eggs and a few mixed up concoctions – presumably the Polish equivalents of coleslaw and potato salad, but whatever they were, they were quite pleasant, and also some cereals. What was very much lacking was any prepared fruit (just a few whole apples), yoghurts (none at all) and pastries (just bread and rolls). Overall, I thought this was a pretty good hotel given the price, it’s a very good location, staff were friendly enough and I’d have no problem with recommending it if you’re on a tight budget.

Garamond, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
4.5/557 Reviews
I made a 2-day trip to Krakow. My friend recommended me a hotel in the old town near the station and the center where I wanted to visit. The Garamond Hotel is a beautiful, cozy hotel in the historic building. What attracted me from the entrance was the wide smiles of the service. After a few hours of rest I asked you about the possibility of booking a table in the restaurant - it turned out in connection with numerous bookings, the first available table is on 21 but a nice lady in the reception assured me that it was worth waiting and she showed the menu. She was right. We had a delicious cancer soup and pie in the truffle sauce. I ordered for dinner Amaretto sour and the husband's local beer. The drink came out of surprise on a small plate, with a popcorn and decorated with a hot sweet foam - miracle ! I recommend and encourage - if someone wants a nice and careful care for a small amount of money, he should definitely come here.

Breakfast is average, the hotel is located in the center of the city, shopping and playing are very convenient, but it makes me uncomfortable. The platform says that there is free parking. I spent 50pld and stopped overnight.
Hotel Polonia

The hotel is right next to the ancient city and there is a modern shopping centre in a very good location. The hotel itself is a bit old, but from the architectural style, she must have been beautiful and rich when she was young. The breakfast is very rich, the restaurant is very romantic, it is not comparable to the German hotel at the same price. This is a business trip for one night, and I will go to the leisure tour once more and stay for a few more days.

Hotel Elektor Premium

I recently stayed at Hotel Elektor in Krakow and overall think it was a nice hotel, nice size, clean room with a location that was easy to get to from the Airport/Train and close enough to walk to everywhere. My only negative would be the AC as it wasn't good, at all. Luckily it didn't get insanely hot during my visit but on the 1st day I set the AC from 24 to 21 and after 3 days it still never got lower then 22. I would consider staying here again but if it's hot weather I would not stay. If this isn't a factor for you, or not going there in the heat of summer, definitely stay here

Wonderful, friendly, hotel. It was very clean, walkable within a few minutes to the town square and other sites, and the staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay there again. Great breakfast for 60 zlotys. PS: the bathroom, while new and fully renovated, is old style with a tiny shower, which might feel cramped to people who like a lot of space.
