Pet-friendly Hotels in Kuala Lumpur

Location is excellent, with major malls and landmarks like Petronas Twin Towers, KLCC, Pavilion Mall with easy reach by foot. Service is excellent - staff arranged a super late checkout after being told that our flight out is in the late evening - a nice gesture that is much appreciated, especially junior and seniors travelling together. Room is spacious and nicely furnished, though comes with some wear and tear that is normal for a hotel this age. Bathroom is huge and comes with bathtubs, toiletries smells great, too! Rooms for improvement are ensuring that the appliances are in working order - our microwave was not functioning well during our stay, which my family ended up eating cold meals and kid with cold milk. There also wasn’t extra trash bags in the kitchen, not enough tissue in the living and dining room. We have to keep bringing the tissue in and out from the bathrooms every time times during meal times. Though i am sure that could be easily resolved by a simple call to the service desk, these are actually daily necessities for any service apartment, a ‘home’ that could be a short term to long term accommodation for a families, business guests etc. The curtain track installation in the bedrooms are also not well thought out. The block-out curtains couldn’t overlapped, leaving a gap for lights to pass through. This may not be an issue to some but for guests whom are light sleepers and need to sleep in total darkness, it’s unpleasant to sleep in such environment. Hope the facilities management can look into these details and continue to improve, it will definitely make the stay an even more pleasant one that it already is.

Pros: Room is spacious, cozy and comfortable. Aircond is cold, bed is comfy. Amenities in the room are well equipped. Parking is convenient at the basement. Cons: Lift - only few people allowed, about 4 pax only despite it can fit up to 7 pax. It’ll sound the alarm when exceed. Breakfast was not replenished fast enough. Many were left waiting for the food.

I have decided to try W Hotel when I saw they had a great deal on weekdays and since I had some spare days off, my friends and I decided to try it out. The team had been extremely helpful especially when I had booked the members rate and realized it was for room only and we wanted to have breakfast because we heard it was great. I dropped a message to the Facebook page and they were quick to respond and assist with this. Not only were they wonderful in responding, they even managed to get us complimentary breakfast for our rooms. I couldn’t have asked for more! The rooms were amazing, especially the ones facing KLCC and the complimentary chocolates were delicious. I tried using the phone to ask for additional pillows but weren’t able to get anyone on hold, however after checking the Marriott app, I was able to place an order for pillows and extra amenities and it was quickly delivered to my room. Truly a wonderful app to compliment the stay. W Insider Kristine was also kind enough to drop me a message on WhatsApp to check on me and it was certainly a great surprise. Breakfast at Flock was truly deserving, it was not the full setup primarily because of the more quieter time of the week, but service was immaculate. Everyone at the restaurant were attentive and helpful, especially Ben who kept checking in on us. Thank you once again for the wonderful stay W, hope to be able to visit again and next time make full use of the pool.

Surrounding environment of the hotel is good, supporting facilities are also good! Not careful enough, no water and toiletries should be provided in advance! And different national conditions should reserve a few conversion plugs for guests to rent, or inform yourself in advance! The front desk service is not available. I can't be reached after work at 9:00 in the evening. I arrived at the hotel at 11:30 that night and checked in almost at 3:00 in the morning! Ctrip's butler has been assisting me to get the job done. Thanks also to the hotel security, very helpful and responsible! Help me contact the cleaning aunt before staying! However, it may be temporarily arranged at the front desk. The room should be unoccupied for a long time. The quilt is covered with dust. It's too late to sleep. Hope the hotel improves

Love the concept and very well thought out spaces. My room was comfortable and very minimal disturbance despite being right in front of the lift lobby. Staff are friendly and always happy assist. I come KL work trips frequently and Lyf will definitely be my top choice of accommodation as long it’s not too far from where I need go for meetings. It requires guests to also pick up after themselves most of the time and it is nice to know that common areas are generally almost clean and tidy. They provide baskets for you to contain all your pantry items in 1 place. Even sticker labels with markers are provided! Feels like a community and every one plays a part to keep the whole place nice and pleasant!

The bath was subtle. Also, it wasn't easy to connect because the outlet connection was bad, and I wanted to cry. The owner is very kind!
